[MLIR] Fix crash in FrozenRewritePatternSet when PDL lowering is skipped by debug counter (#186159)
When using --mlir-debug-counter=pass-execution-skip=N, the MLIR debug
counter can skip the internal PDL-to-PDLInterp lowering pass that runs
inside FrozenRewritePatternSet's constructor. This caused an assertion
failure in PDLByteCode::Generator::generate() because the PDL module
wasn't properly converted to the interpreter dialect.

The fix adds a check after the PDL lowering pipeline runs to verify that
the expected matcher function symbol was produced. If the symbol is
absent (e.g., because the lowering was skipped by a debug counter),
bytecode generation is skipped entirely and PDL patterns are not
applied. This allows debug counter bisection to work without crashing.

[mlir] Remove unused includes (NFC) (#148872)
These are identified by misc-include-cleaner. I've filtered out those
that break builds. Also, I'm staying away from llvm-config.h,
config.h, and Compiler.h, which likely cause platform- or
compiler-specific build failures.

[mlir] Use *Set::insert_range (NFC) (#132326)
DenseSet, SmallPtrSet, SmallSet, SetVector, and StringSet recently
gained C++23-style insert_range. This patch replaces:

  Dest.insert(Src.begin(), Src.end());

with:

  Dest.insert_range(Src);

This patch does not touch custom begin like succ_begin for now.

[MLIR][NFC] Retire let constructor for passes in Conversion directory (part1) (#127403)
`let constructor` is deprecated since the table gen backend emits most
of the glue logic to build a pass. This PR retires the td method for
most (I need another pass) passes in the Conversion directory.

6ae7f66ff5 [mlir] Add config for PDL (#69927)
Make it so that PDL in pattern rewrites can be optionally disabled.

PDL is still enabled by default and not optional bazel. So this should
be a NOP for most folks, while enabling other to disable.

This only works with tests disabled. With tests enabled this still
compiles but tests fail as there is no lit config to disable tests that
depend on PDL rewrites yet.

PDL is still enabled by default and not optional bazel. So this should

This is piped through mlir-tblgen invocation and that could be
changed/avoided by splitting up the passes file instead.

94a309284d [mlir][Pass] Make PassManager default to op-agnostic
Currently `PassManager` defaults to being anchored on `builtin.module`.
Switching the default makes `PassManager` consistent with
`OpPassManager` and avoids the implicit dependency on `builtin.module`.

Specifying the anchor op type isn't strictly necessary when using
explicit nesting (existing pipelines will continue to work), but I've
updated most call sites to specify the anchor since it allows for better
error-checking during pipeline construction.

8c66344ee9 [mlir:PDL] Add support for DialectConversion with pattern configurations
Up until now PDL(L) has not supported dialect conversion because we had no
way of remapping values or integrating with type conversions. This commit
rectifies that by adding a new "pattern configuration" concept to PDL. This
essentially allows for attaching external configurations to patterns, which
can hook into pattern events (for now just the scope of a rewrite, but we
could also pass configs to native rewrites as well). This allows for injecting
the type converter into the conversion pattern rewriter.

edc6c0ecb9 [mlir] Refactor AbstractOperation and OperationName
The current implementation is quite clunky; OperationName stores either an Identifier
or an AbstractOperation that corresponds to an operation. This has several problems:

* OperationNames created before and after an operation are registered are different
* Accessing the identifier name/dialect/etc. from an OperationName are overly branchy
  - they need to dyn_cast a PointerUnion to check the state

This commit refactors this such that we create a single information struct for every
operation name, even operations that aren't registered yet. When an OperationName is
created for an unregistered operation, we only populate the name field. When the
operation is registered, we populate the remaining fields. With this we now have two
new classes: OperationName and RegisteredOperationName. These both point to the
same underlying operation information struct, but only RegisteredOperationName can
assume that the operation is actually registered. This leads to a much cleaner API, and
we can also move some AbstractOperation functionality directly to OperationName.

0289a2692e [mlir] Add support for filtering patterns based on debug names and labels
This revision allows for attaching "debug labels" to patterns, and provides to FrozenRewritePatternSet for filtering patterns based on these labels (in addition to the debug name of the pattern). This will greatly simplify the ability to write tests targeted towards specific patterns (in cases where many patterns may interact), will also simplify debugging pattern application by observing how application changes when enabling/disabling specific patterns.

To enable better reuse of pattern rewrite options between passes, this revision also adds a new PassUtil.td file to the Rewrite/ library that will allow for passes to easily hook into a common interface for pattern debugging. Two options are used to seed this utility, `disable-patterns` and `enable-patterns`, which are used to enable the filtering behavior indicated above.

76f3c2f3f3 [mlir][Pattern] Add better support for using interfaces/traits to match root operations in rewrite patterns
To match an interface or trait, users currently have to use the `MatchAny` tag. This tag can be quite problematic for compile time for things like the canonicalizer, as the `MatchAny` patterns may get applied to *every* operation. This revision adds better support by bucketing interface/trait patterns based on which registered operations have them registered. This means that moving forward we will only attempt to match these patterns to operations that have this interface registered. Two simplify defining patterns that match traits and interfaces, two new utility classes have been added: OpTraitRewritePattern and OpInterfaceRewritePattern.

79d7f618af Rename FrozenRewritePatternList -> FrozenRewritePatternSet; NFC.
This nicely aligns the naming with RewritePatternSet. This type isn't
as widely used, but we keep a using declaration in to help with
downstream consumption of this change.
