And constrain the new `operator==` since C++26.
This patch implements parts of P2165R4, P2944R3, and a possibly improved
resolution of LWG3882. Currently, libstdc++ and MSVC STL constrain the
new overloads in the same way.
Also set feature-test macro `__cpp_lib_constrained_equality` and add
related release note, as P2944R3 will completed with this patch.

Fixes#105260
This patch applies the change as a DR to C++20. The rationale is that
the paper is more like a bug fix. It does not introduce new features, it
simply changes an existing behaviour (as a bug fix). MSVC STL DRed this
paper to C++20 as well.
# Overview
As a disclaimer, this is my first PR to LLVM and while I've tried to
ensure I've followed the LLVM and libc++ contributing guidelines,
there's probably a good chance I missed something. If I have, just let
me know and I'll try to correct it as soon as I can.
This PR implements `std::ranges::iota` and
`std::ranges::out_value_result` outlined in
[P2440r1](https://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg21/docs/papers/2021/p2440r1.html).
As outlined in the paper above, I've:
- Implemented `out_value_result` and added to `<algorithm>`
- Added `out_value_result`, `iota_result`, and two overloads of `iota`
to `std::ranges` in `<numeric>`
- Updated the version macro `__cpp_lib_ranges_iota` in `<version>`
I've also added tests for `ranges::iota` and `ranges::out_value_result`.
Lastly, I added those structs to the appropriate module files.
Partially implements #105184
EDIT: Forgot to mention in the original post, thanks to @hawkinsw for
taking a look at a preliminary version of this PR!
# TODOs
- [x] Updating the range [status
doc](https://github.com/jamesETsmith/llvm-project/blob/main/libcxx/docs/Status/RangesMajorFeatures.csv)
- [x] Ensure all comments from https://reviews.llvm.org/D121436 are
addressed here
- [X] EDIT (I'll do this in a separate PR). ~~I'm open to implementing
the rest of P2440r1 (`ranges::shift_left` and `ranges::shift_right`) if
that's ok, I just wanted to get feedback on `ranges::iota` first~~
- [x] I've been having trouble building the modules locally and want to
make sure that's working properly
Closes: #134060
P2513R4 neither touched library wording nor required library
implementation to change. So it was probably a mistake to list it in
libc++'s implementation status table.
Minor version of releases starts at `N.1.0` for all releases since 4532617ae42005.
The current status pages are not terribly wrong (the version during
development can be considered `N.0`), but still it's kinda weird to use
versions that never get released as the lower bound.
Around half of the tests are based on the tests Arthur O'Dwyer's
original implementation of std::flat_map, with modifications and
removals.
partially implement #105190
The changes are nearly pure simplifications, so I think it's OK to do
them together in the same PR.
Actual test coverages were already added in commit ad41d1e26b12
(https://reviews.llvm.org/D141216). Thanks to Casey Carter!
Fixes#104975
Towards #105200
Only the [cmp.alg] part (for `comparison_meow_fallback` CPOs) in the
paper required changes. Other parts merely fixed preconditions of some
standard library functions.
I strongly feel that P2167R3 should be a DR despite that it is not a DR
officially: CPOs -> C++20; remain parts -> C++98/11 (except that
_`boolean-testable`_ should be transformed into the original
_BooleanTestable_ requirements in the old resolution of LWG2114).
Note that P2167R3 damaged the resolution of LWG3465: the type of `F < E`
was left underconstrained. I've tried to submit an LWG issue for this,
which is now LWG4157.
Drive-by change:
- enable some test coverages in `compare_strong_order_fallback.pass.cpp`
when `TEST_LONG_DOUBLE_IS_DOUBLE`, following up #106742Closes#105241.
This patch replaces 'tags' in the CSV status pages by inline notes
that optionally describe more details about the paper/LWG issue.
Tags were not really useful anymore because we have a vastly superior
tagging system via Github issues, and keeping the tags up-to-date
between CSV files and Github is going to be really challenging.
This patch also adds support for encoding custom notes in the CSV
files via Github issues. To encode a note in the CSV file, the
body (initial description) of a Github issue can be edited to contain
the following markers:
BEGIN-RST-NOTES
text that will be added as a note in the RST
END-RST-NOTES
Amongst other things, this solves the problem of conveying that a
paper has been implemented as a DR, and it gives a unified way to
add notes to the status pages from Github.
This patch implements https://wg21.link/p2609r3.
The test code was originally authored by JMazurkiewicz.
Notes:
- P2609R3 is not officially a Defect Report, but MSVC STL
implements it in C++20 mode.
Moreover, P2609R3 and P2997R1 touch exactly the same set of
concepts, and MSVC STL and libc++ have already treated P2997R1
as a DR.
- This patch also adjusted feature-test macros.
+ In C++20 mode, the value of __cpp_lib_ranges should be `202110L` because
- `202202L` covers `range_adaptor_closure` (P2387R3), and
- `202207L` covers move-only types in range adaptors (P2494R2).
And all of these changes are only available since C++23 mode.
+ In C++23 mode, the value should be `202406L` because
- `202211L` covers removing poison overloads (P2602R2),
- `202302L` covers relaxing projected value types (P2609R3), and
- `202406L` covers removing requirements on `iter_common_reference_t` (P2997R1).
And all of these changes are already or being implemented.

- Make sure we always have the same number of entries. In particular, I
dropped the "Group" entry that was tracked for papers but not for LWG
issues, since I don't think that added much. The group is already
tracked on the paper itself.
- Add "Label" row to all the CSV files.
This is mechanical, but it's necessary if we want to process our CSV
files uniformly, for example to synchronize their state with Github
issues.
There were a few places where we didn't properly quote entries in the
CSV status pages, or where we followed inconsistent spacing. This causes
issue when trying to synchronize status pages with Github issues.
Implements [P1223R5][] completely.
Includes an implementation of `find_last`, `find_last_if`, and
`find_last_if_not`.
[P1223R5]: https://wg21.link/p1223r5
The feature has been implemented in LLVM 18 as an experimental feature.
This marks the paper as complete and sets the feature-test macro.
Implements
- P2465R3 Standard Library Modules std and std.compat
Fixes: https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/89579
The change increments the size of the lookup table considerably. The
table has an "upper boundary" check. The removal of the code units with
the property Grapheme_Extend=Yes removes the range E0100..E01EF. This
breaks the trailing large continuous section in two parts. This will be
improved in a followup patch.
Implements:
- P2713R1 Escaping improvements in std::format
- LWG3965 Incorrect example in [format.string.escaped] p3 for formatting
of combining characters

This patch finalizes the std::ranges::range_adaptor_closure
class template from https://wg21.link/P2387R3.
// [range.adaptor.object], range adaptor objects
template<class D>
requires is_class_v<D> && same_as<D, remove_cv_t<D>>
class range_adaptor_closure { };
The current implementation of __range_adaptor_closure was introduced
in ee44dd8062a26541808fc0d3fd5c6703e19f6016 and has served as the
foundation for the range adaptors in libc++ for a while. This patch
keeps its implementation, with the exception of the following changes:
- __range_adaptor_closure now includes the missing constraints
`is_class_v<D> && same_as<D, remove_cv_t<D>>` to restrict the
type of class that can inherit from it. (https://eel.is/c++draft/ranges.syn)
- The operator| of __range_adaptor_closure no longer requires its
first argument to model viewable_range. (https://eel.is/c++draft/range.adaptor.object#1)
- The _RangeAdaptorClosure concept is refined to exclude cases where
T models range or where T has base classes of type range_adaptor_closure<U>
for another type U. (https://eel.is/c++draft/range.adaptor.object#2)
As pointed out by @Zingam the paper was implemented in libc++ as an
extension. This patch does the bookkeeping. The inital release version
is based on historical release dates.

This patch brings std::ios_base::noreplace from P2467R1 to libc++.
This requires compiling the shared library in C++23 mode since otherwise
fstream::open(...) doesn't know about the new flag.
