da0faa0594 [DebugInfo] Produce variadic DBG_INSTR_REFs from ISel
This patch modifies SelectionDAG and FastISel to produce DBG_INSTR_REFs with
variadic expressions, and produce DBG_INSTR_REFs for debug values with variadic
location expressions. The former essentially means just prepending
DW_OP_LLVM_arg, 0 to the existing expression. The latter is achieved in
MachineFunction::finalizeDebugInstrRefs and InstrEmitter::EmitDbgInstrRef.

a344c9073c [DebugInfo] Add support for variadic DBG_INSTR_REFs in LiveDebugValues
Following support from the previous patches in this stack being added for
variadic DBG_INSTR_REFs to exist, this patch modifies LiveDebugValues to
handle those instructions. Support already exists for DBG_VALUE_LISTs, which
covers most of the work needed to handle these instructions; this patch only
modifies the transferDebugInstrRef function to correctly track them.

c383f4d655 [DebugInfo] Allow non-stack_value variadic expressions and use in DBG_INSTR_REF
Prior to this patch, variadic DIExpressions (i.e. ones that contain
DW_OP_LLVM_arg) could only be created by salvaging debug values to create
stack value expressions, resulting in a DBG_VALUE_LIST being created. As of
the previous patch in this patch stack, DBG_INSTR_REF's syntax has been
changed to match DBG_VALUE_LIST in preparation for supporting variadic
expressions. This patch adds some minor changes needed to allow variadic
expressions that aren't stack values to exist, and allows variadic expressions
that are trivially reduceable to non-variadic expressions to be handled
similarly to non-variadic expressions.

Move from llvm::makeArrayRef to ArrayRef deduction guides - llvm/ part
Use deduction guides instead of helper functions.

The only non-automatic changes have been:

1. ArrayRef(some_uint8_pointer, 0) needs to be changed into ArrayRef(some_uint8_pointer, (size_t)0) to avoid an ambiguous call with ArrayRef((uint8_t*), (uint8_t*))
2. CVSymbol sym(makeArrayRef(symStorage)); needed to be rewritten as CVSymbol sym{ArrayRef(symStorage)}; otherwise the compiler is confused and thinks we have a (bad) function prototype. There was a few similar situation across the codebase.
3. ADL doesn't seem to work the same for deduction-guides and functions, so at some point the llvm namespace must be explicitly stated.
4. The "reference mode" of makeArrayRef(ArrayRef<T> &) that acts as no-op is not supported (a constructor cannot achieve that).

Per reviewers' comment, some useless makeArrayRef have been removed in the process.

This is a follow-up to https://reviews.llvm.org/D140896 that introduced
the deduction guides.

6d169089f6 [DebugInfo] Add function to test debug values for equivalence
This patch adds a new function that can be used to check all the
properties, other than the machine values, of a pair of debug values for
equivalence. This is done by folding the "directness" into the
expression, converting the expression to variadic form if it is not
already in that form, and then comparing directly. In a few places which
check whether two debug values are identical to see if their ranges can
be merged, this function will correctly identify cases where two debug
values are expressed differently but have the same meaning, allowing
those ranges to be correctly merged.

1fa870b1bd Use None consistently (NFC)
This patch replaces NoneType() and NoneType::None with None in
preparation for migration from llvm::Optional to std::optional.

In the std::optional world, we are not guranteed to be able to
default-construct std::nullopt_t or peek what's inside it, so neither
NoneType() nor NoneType::None has a corresponding expression in the
std::optional world.

Once we consistently use None, we should even be able to replace the
contents of llvm/include/llvm/ADT/None.h with something like:

  using NoneType = std::nullopt_t;
  inline constexpr std::nullopt_t None = std::nullopt;

to ease the migration from llvm::Optional to std::optional.

475de8da01 [IR]PATCH 2/2: Add MDNode::printTree and dumpTree
This patch adds the functionalities to print MDNode in tree shape. For
example, instead of printing a MDNode like this:
```
```
The printTree/dumpTree functions can give you:
```
<0x5643e1166888> = !DILocalVariable(name: "foo", arg: 2, scope: <0x5643e11c9740>, file: <0x5643e11c6ec0>, line: 8, type: <0x5643e11ca8e0>, flags: DIFlagPublic | DIFlagFwdDecl, align: 8)
  <0x5643e11c9740> = distinct !DISubprogram(scope: null, spFlags: 0)
  <0x5643e11c6ec0> = distinct !DIFile(filename: "file.c", directory: "/path/to/dir")
    <0x5643e11668d8> = !DIBasicType(tag: DW_TAG_unspecified_type, name: "basictype")
```
Which is useful when using it in debugger. Where sometimes printing the

75aa3d520d Add a DIExpression const-folder to prevent silly expressions.
It's entirely possible (because it actually happened) for a bool
variable to end up with a 256-bit DW_AT_const_value. This came about
when a local bool variable was initialized from a bitfield in a
32-byte struct of bitfields, and after inlining and constant
propagation, the variable did have a constant value. The sequence of
optimizations had it carrying "i256" values around, but once the
constant made it into the llvm.dbg.value, no further IR changes could
affect it.

Technically the llvm.dbg.value did have a DIExpression to reduce it
back down to 8 bits, but the compiler is in no way ready to emit an
oversized constant *and* a DWARF expression to manipulate it.
Depending on the circumstances, we had either just the very fat bool
value, or an expression with no starting value.

The sequence of optimizations that led to this state did seem pretty
reasonable, so the solution I came up with was to invent a DWARF
constant expression folder. Currently it only does convert ops, but
there's no reason it couldn't do other ops if that became useful.

This broke three tests that depended on having convert ops survive
into the DWARF, so I added an operator that would abort the folder to
each of those tests.

65600cb2a7 [DebugInfo] Add DIArgList MD to store multple values in DbgVariableIntrinsics
This patch adds a new metadata node, DIArgList, which contains a list of SSA
values. This node is in many ways similar in function to the existing
ValueAsMetadata node, with the difference being that it tracks a list instead of
a single value. Internally, it uses ValueAsMetadata to track the individual
values, but there is also a reasonable amount of DIArgList-specific
value-tracking logic on top of that. Similar to ValueAsMetadata, it is a special
case in parsing and printing due to the fact that it requires a function state
(as it may reference function-local values).

This patch should not result in any immediate functional change; it allows for
DIArgLists to be parsed and printed, but debug variable intrinsics do not yet
recognize them as a valid argument (outside of parsing).

well when the debugger is run on a different machine than the

makes sense to just store the name of the SDK instead of the absolute

This addresses point 1 of PR44213.
https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=44213

The DW_AT_LLVM_sysroot attribute is used for Clang module debug info,
to allow LLDB to import a Clang module from source. Currently it is
part of each DW_TAG_module, however, it is the same for all modules in
a compile unit. It is more efficient and less ambiguous to store it
once in the DW_TAG_compile_unit.

This should have no effect on DWARF consumers other than LLDB.

12e479475a Rename DW_AT_LLVM_isysroot to DW_AT_LLVM_sysroot
This is a purely cosmetic change that is NFC in terms of the binary
output. I bugs me that I called the attribute DW_AT_LLVM_isysroot
since the "i" is an artifact of GCC command line option syntax
(-isysroot is in the category of -i options) and doesn't carry any
useful information otherwise.

This attribute only appears in Clang module debug info.

269a9afe25 [DebugInfo] Make DebugVariable class available in DebugInfoMetadata
The DebugVariable class is a class declared in LiveDebugValues.cpp which
is used to uniquely identify a single variable, using its source
variable, inline location, and fragment info to do so. This patch moves
this class into DebugInfoMetadata.h, making it available in a much
broader scope.
