[libc][wait] hard code __W_CONTINUED for SYS_waitid fallback (#125929)
riscv32 currently doesn't have SYS_wait4, so wait4 is implemented via fallback
to SYS_waitid. In #125572, I missed that we had one use of the removed
__W_CONTINUED value. Hard code it here.

[libc] (reland #117503) Implement process_mrelease (#117851)
This PR implements process_mrelease.
A previous PR was merged #117503, but failed on merge due to an issue in
the tests. Namely the failing tests were comparing against return type
as opposed to errno. This is fixed in this PR.

[libc] Fix sendmsg iovec unpoisoning (#115057)
The unpoisoning for sendmsg had a typo where it would not unpoison all
of the elements in the iovec, causing msan errors. This patch fixes
that.

[libc] Add MSAN unpoison annotations to recv funcs (#109844)
Anywhere a struct is returned from the kernel, we need to explicitly
unpoison it for MSAN. This patch does that for the recv, recvfrom,
recvmsg, and socketpair functions.

[libc] Put bind back, fix gcc build (#109341)
Fixes #106467.
Bind was accidentally removed while trying to clean up functions that
didn't end up being needed. The GCC issue was just a warning treated as
an error.

over a socket. Those functions are: recv, recvfrom, recvmsg, send,

[libc] Implement 'getenv' on the GPU target (#102376)
Summary:
This patch implements 'getenv'. I was torn on how to implement this,
since realistically we only have access to this environment pointer in
the "loader" interface. An alternative would be to use an RPC call every
time, but I think that's overkill for what this will be used for. A
better solution is just to emit a common `DataEnvironment` that contains
all of the host visible resources to initialize. Right now this is the
`env_ptr`, `clock_freq`, and `rpc_client`.

I did this by making the `app.h` interface that Linux uses more general,
could possibly move that into a separate patch, but I figured it's
easier to see with the usage.

[libc] Disable epoll_pwait2 for now. (#99967)
This patch reverts #99781 and part of #99771 since `epoll_pwait2` is not
in fact available on all supported systems. It is my opinion that we
shouldn't provide a version of a function that doesn't perform as
expected, which is why this revert needs to happen.

The `epoll_pwait2` function can be reenabled when we have a way to check
if it is available on the target system, tracking bug for that is #80060

[libc] Implement pwait2 using pwait (#99781)
This patch implements pwait2 using pwait. The implementation is an
approximation of pwait2, since pwait only only supports timeouts in
milliseconds, not nanoseconds, as required by pwait2.

[libc] Added static casts to fix implicit conversion warnings in 32-bit systems
This patch fixes:

randomness.h and getauxval.cpp were passing ssize_t as size_t
kernel_statx.h was assigning an uint64_t to uintptr_t
fopencookie.cpp was trying to create a FileIOResult using ssize_t but the constructor expected a size_t
thread.h was trying to call free_stack (which takes a size_t) with an unsigned long long. free_stack does the calculations using uintptr_t, so I changed the passing values to size_t

[libc][NFC] Adjust use of off_t internally (#68269)
This patch includes changes related to the use of off_t in libc,
targeted at 32-bit systems: in several places, the offset is used either
as a long or an off_t (64-bit signed int), but in 32-bit systems a long
type is only 32 bits long.

Fix a warning in mmap where a long offset is expected, but we were
passing an off_t. A static_cast and a comment were added to explain
that we know we are ignoring the upper 32-bit of the off_t in 32-bit
systems.
The code in pread and pwrite was slightly improved to remove a
#ifdef LIBC_TARGET_ARCH_IS_RISCV32; we are using an if constexpr now.
The Linux file operations were changed to use off_t instead of a long
where applicable. No changes were made to the standard API, e.g.,
ftell returns the offset as an int so we added a static_cast and a
comment explaining that this will cause a loss of integer precision
in 32-bit systems.

[libc] add remaining epoll functions, pipe (#84587)
The epoll_wait functions need the rest of the epoll functions (create,
ctl) to be available to actually test them, as well as pipe to create a
usable file descriptor. This patch adds epoll_create, epoll_create1,
epoll_ctl, and pipe. These have tests, and the tests for epoll_wait,
epoll_pwait, and epoll_pwait2 (currently disabled) are updated to use
these newly available functions.

[libc] Codify header inclusion policy (#87017)
When supporting "overlay" vs "fullbuild" modes, "what ABI are you
using?" becomes a fundamental question to have concrete answers for.
Overlay mode MUST match the ABI of the system being overlayed onto;
fullbuild more flexible (the only system ABI relevant is the OS kernel).

When implementing llvm-libc we generally prefer the include-what-you use
style of avoiding transitive dependencies (since that makes refactoring
headers more painful, and slows down build times). So what header do you
include for any given type or function declaration? For any given
userspace program, the answer is straightforward. But for llvm-libc
which is trying to support multiple ABIs (at least one per
configuration), the answer is perhaps less clear.

This proposal seeks to add one layer of indirection relative to what's
being done today.

It then converts users of sigset_t and struct epoll_event and the epoll
implemenations over to this convention as an example.

[libc] Add "include/" to the LLVM include directories (#83199)
Summary:
Recent changes added an include path in the float128 type that used the
internal `libc` path to find the macro. This doesn't work once it's
installed because we need to search from the root of the install dir.
This patch adds "include/" to the include path so that our inclusion
of installed headers always match the internal use.
