969d787a47 [OpenMP][OMPIRBuilder] Add a configuration class that captures flags that affect codegen
This patch introudces the OpenMPIRBuilderConfig class which contains various
flags that are needed to lower OMP constructs to LLVM-IR. The purpose is to
keep the flags in one place so they do not have to be passed in every time.
The flags can be set optionally since some uses cases don't rely on functions
that depend on these flags.

cb261e30fb [AArch64][clang] implement 2022 General Data-Processing instructions
This patch implements the 2022 Architecture General Data-Processing Instructions

They include:

Common Short Sequence Compression (CSSC) instructions
- scalar comparison instructions
  SMAX, SMIN, UMAX, UMIN (32/64 bits) with or without immediate
- ABS (absolute), CNT (count non-zero bits), CTZ (count trailing zeroes)
- command-line options for CSSC

Associated with these instructions in the documentation is the Range Prefetch
Memory (RPRFM) instruction, which signals to the memory system that data memory
accesses from a specified range of addresses are likely to occur in the near
future. The instruction lies in hint space, and is made unconditional.

6ba4b62af8 Return None instead of Optional<T>() (NFC)
This patch replaces:

  return Optional<T>();

with:

  return None;

to make the migration from llvm::Optional to std::optional easier.
Specifically, I can deprecate None (in my source tree, that is) to
identify all the instances of None that should be replaced with
std::nullopt.

Note that "return None" far outnumbers "return Optional<T>();".  There
are more than 2000 instances of "return None" in our source tree.

All of the instances in this patch come from functions that return
Optional<T> except Archive::findSym and ASTNodeImporter::import, where
we return Expected<Optional<T>>.  Note that we can construct
Expected<Optional<T>> from any parameter convertible to Optional<T>,
which None certainly is.

[SCEV] Iteratively compute ranges for deeply nested expressions.
At the moment, getRangeRef may overflow the stack for very deeply nested
expressions.

This patch introduces a new getRangeRefIter function, which first builds
a worklist of N-ary expressions and phi nodes, followed by their
operands iteratively.

getRangeRef has been extended to also take a Depth argument and it
switches to use getRangeRefIter once the depth reaches a certain
threshold.

This ensures compile-time is not impacted in general. Note that
the iterative algorithm may lead to a slightly different evaluation
order, which could result in slightly worse ranges for cyclic phis.

53d234eab6 [Support] Reduce Dependence on Host.h
The intention behind this commit is to reduce the use of Host.h/Host.cpp
in Support, to where it is only necessary.

In this case, the endian-detection and support functionality needed by
these implementations can be provided by `Support/SwapByteOrder.h` in a
cleaner manner.

This patch also changes the byte swap in SHA256.cpp to use the byte swap
function from that header, rather than an inlined implementation.

35df882274 [ADT] Remove deprecated llvm::array_lengthof
`llvm::array_lengthof` was marked deprecated a bit over two months ago in
5758c824dab4851fd061201483987b338c051417.  Now, finally remove it.  Since this
function was the only one in `STLArrayExtras.h`, get rid of the whole header.

D118342 (2022-01) moved the function to `STLArrayExtras.h`. This function should
have very few users now (MaskRay made some downstream inspection in
https://reviews.llvm.org/D133502#3777981). D133502 deprecated the function.

242a9cf7e6 [LLD][COFF] Survive empty and invalid PCH signature
Solve two issues that showed up when using LLD with Unreal Engine & FASTBuild:
1. It seems the S_OBJNAME record doesn't always record the "precomp signature". We were relying on that to match the PCH.OBJ with their dependent-OBJ.
2. MSVC link.exe is able to link a PCH.OBJ when the "precomp signatureÈ doesn't match, but LLD was failing. This was occuring since the Unreal Engine Build Tool was compiling the PCH.OBJ, but the dependent-OBJ were compiled & cached through FASTBuild. Upon a clean rebuild, the PCH.OBJs were recompiled by the Unreal Build Tool, thus the "precomp signatures" were changing; however the OBJs were already cached by FASTBuild, thus having an old "precomp signatures".

We now ignore "precomp signatures" and properly fallback to cmd-line name lookup, like MSVC link.exe does, and only fail if the PCH.OBJ type stream doesn't match the count expected by the dependent-OBJ.

1fa870b1bd Use None consistently (NFC)
This patch replaces NoneType() and NoneType::None with None in
preparation for migration from llvm::Optional to std::optional.

In the std::optional world, we are not guranteed to be able to
default-construct std::nullopt_t or peek what's inside it, so neither
NoneType() nor NoneType::None has a corresponding expression in the
std::optional world.

Once we consistently use None, we should even be able to replace the
contents of llvm/include/llvm/ADT/None.h with something like:

  using NoneType = std::nullopt_t;
  inline constexpr std::nullopt_t None = std::nullopt;

to ease the migration from llvm::Optional to std::optional.

49e483d3d6 [CodeView] Replace GHASH hasher by BLAKE3
Previously, we used SHA-1 for hashing the CodeView type records.
SHA-1 in `GloballyHashedType::hashType()` is coming top in the profiles. By simply replacing with BLAKE3, the link time is reduced in our case from 15 sec to 13 sec. I am only using MSVC .OBJs in this case. As a reference, the resulting .PDB is approx 2.1GiB and .EXE is approx 250MiB.

3c36de55f5 GlobalISel: Try to fold G_SEXT_INREG to G_AND with mask
Copies the same transform from the DAG. Helps eliminate some codegen
diffs to allowed shared checks in a future change.

Not sure if apply supports anything better than C++ fragments for
the result. It's also not really reasonable that every combine has
to set the default insertion point.

841a0edd03 ConstantFolding: Constant fold some canonicalizes
+/-0 is obviously foldable. Other non-special, non-subnormal
values are also probably OK. For denormal values, check
the calling function's denormal mode. For now, don't fold
denormals to the input for IEEE mode because as far as I know
the langref is still pretending LLVM's float isn't IEEE.

Also folds undef to 0, although NaN may make more sense. Skips
folding nans and infinities, although it should be OK to fold those
in a future change.

98e342dca2 [RISCV][llvm-mca] Use LMUL Instruments to provide more accurate reports on RISCV
On x86 and AArch, SIMD instructions encode all of the scheduling information in the instruction
itself. For example, VADD.I16 q0, q1, q2 is a neon instruction that operates on 16-bit integer
elements stored in 128-bit Q registers, which leads to eight 16-bit lanes in parallel. This kind
of information impacts how the instruction takes to execute and what dependencies this may cause.

On RISCV however, the data that impacts scheduling is encoded in CSR registers such as vtype or
vl, in addition with the instruction itself. But MCA does not track or use the data in these
registers. This patch fixes this problem by introducing Instruments into MCA.

* Replace `CodeRegions` with `AnalysisRegions`
* Add `Instrument` and `InstrumentManager`
* Add `InstrumentRegions`
* Add RISCV Instrument and `InstrumentManager`
* Parse `Instruments` in driver
* Use instruments to override schedule class
* RISCV use lmul instrument to override schedule class
* Fix unit tests to pass empty instruments
* Add -ignore-im clopt to disable this change

A prior version of this patch was commited in 5e82ee537321. 2323a4ee610f reverted
that change because the unit test files caused build errors. The change with fixes
were committed in b88b8307bf9e but reverted once again e8e92c8313a0 due to more
build errors.

This commit adds the prior changes and fixes the build error.

3cf14a7bdc [Support] Add support for attaching payloads to points and ranges
This is useful where tests previously encoded information in the name
names of ranges and points. Currently, this is pretty limited because
names consist of only alphanumeric characters and '_'.

With this patch, we can keep the names simple and attach optional
payloads to ranges and points instead.

The new syntax should be fully backwards compatible (if I haven't missed
anything). I tested this against clangd unit tests and everything still passes.

7059a6c32c [IR] Split out IR printing passes into IRPrinter
This diff splits out (from LLVMCore) IR printing passes into IRPrinter.
This structure is similar to what we already have for IRReader and
enables us to avoid circular dependencies between LLVMCore and Analysis
(this is a preparation for https://reviews.llvm.org/D137768).
The legacy interface is left unchanged, once the legacy pass manager
is removed (in the future) we will be able to clean it up further.
The bazel build configuration has been updated as well.

Test plan:
1/ Tested the following cmake configurations: static/dynamic linking * lld/gold * clang/gcc
2/ bazel build --config=generic_clang @llvm-project//...
