198e0a12f6 [MemCpyOpt] Fix up debug loc for simplified memset in processMemSetMemCpyDependence
Make sure the code comments in processMemSetMemCpyDependence match
with the actual transform. They indicated that the memset being
rewritten was sunk to after a memcpy, while it actually is inserted
just before the memcpy.

Also make sure we use the debug location of the original memset
when creating the new simplified memset. In the past we've been
using the debug location for the memcpy which could be a bit
confusing.

5cfb9aa428 [SimpleLoopUnswitch][reland 2] unswitch selects
The old LoopUnswitch pass unswitched selects, but the changes were
never ported to the new SimpleLoopUnswitch.

We unswitch by turning:

``` S = select %cond, %a, %b ```
into:
``` head: br %cond, label %then, label %tail

then: br label %tail

tail: S = phi [ %a, %then ], [ %b, %head ] ```

Unswitch selects are always nontrivial, since the successors do not
exit the loop and the loop body always needs to be cloned.

Unswitch selects always need to freeze the conditional if the
conditional could be poison or undef. Selects don't propagate
poison/undef, and branches on poison/undef causes UB.

Reland 1 - Fix the insertion of freeze instructions. The original
implementation inserts a dead freeze instruction that is not used by the
unswitched branch.

Reland 2 - Include https://reviews.llvm.org/D149560 in the same patch,
which was originally reverted along with this patch. The patch prevents
unswitching of selects with a vector conditional. This could have been
caught in SimpleLoopUnswitch/crash.ll if it included tests for
nontrivial unswitching. This reland also adds a run for the test file
with nontrivial unswitching.

901183b596 [IPO] Opt-in local clones for thinlto imports
ThinLTO imports (which appear as `available_externally`) that survive
inlining get deleted. With today's inliner that's reasonable, because
the way the function would be inlined into in other modules would be the
same - because of the bottom-up traversal assumption, and the fact that
the inliner doesn't take into account surrounding context [*]. The
ModuleInliner invalidates the first assumption, and the ML inliner the
second.

This patch adds a way to opt-in a module to keep its variant of an
imported function, even if it survived past inlining.

[*] Almost. Deferred inlining is an exception which can lead to
(empirically) infrequent discrepancies.

7fbfcc653f [LV/LAA] Use PSE to identify stride multiplies which simplify [mostly nfc]
LV/LAA will speculate that (some) strided access patterns have unit stride, and insert runtime checks if required.

LV cost models a multiply by such a stride as free. We did this by keeping around the StrideSet structure, just to check if one of the operands were one of the strides we speculated.

We can instead just ask PredicatedScalarEvolution if either of the operands are one (after predicates are applied). We get mostly the same result - PSE can prove it in more cases in theory - and simpler code.

e41dce4d49 [LAA/LV] Simplify stride speculation logic [NFC] (try 2)
The original commit wasn't quite NFC, and this was caught by an arguably overly strong assert. Specifically, I'd failed to strip off the integer cast off the SCEV before saving it in the map. The result - other than a failed assert - is that we'd speculate on the casted unknown, not the unknown. The only case I can think of where that might change behavior would be a sext(i1 load). I doubt that case is interesting in practice, but it's good to be strictly NFC on this change regardless.

Original commit message follows..

The existing code makes it hard to tell that collectStridedAccess is really about identifying some loop invariant SCEV which is *profitable* to speculate is equal to one. The odd dual usage structure of Value and SCEV confuses this point.

We could choose to loosen the profitability analysis if desired. I'm not proposing doing so at this time as it exposes too many cases where the speculation is unprofitable.

This change enables loading pseudo-probe based profile on MIR. Different from the IR profile loader, callsites are excluded from MIR profile loading since they are not assinged a FS discriminator. 9272d0f079 [PseudoProbe] Clean up dwarf discriminator and avoid duplicating factor.
A pseudo probe is created with dwarf line information shared with its nearest instruction. If the instruction comes with a dwarf discriminator, it will be shared with the probe as well. This can confuse the later FS-AFDO discriminator assignment pass. To fix this, I'm cleaning up the discriminator fields for probes when they are inserted.

I also notice another possibility to change the discriminator field of pseudo probes in the pipeline before the FS discriminator assignment pass. That is the loop unroller, which assigns duplication factor to instruction being vectorized. I'm disabling that for pseudo probe intrinsics specifically, also for callsites with probes.

5d3a884229 [IRGen] Change annotation metadata to support inserting tuple of strings into annotation metadata array.
Annotation metadata supports adding singular annotation strings to annotation block. This patch adds the ability to insert a tuple of strings into the metadata array.

The idea here is that each tuple of strings represents a piece of information that can be all related. It makes it easier to parse through related metadata information given it will be contained in one tuple.
For example in remarks any pass that implements annotation remarks can have different type of remarks and pass additional information for each.

The original behaviour of annotation remarks is preserved here and we can mix tuple annotations and single annotations for the same instruction.

438e1cff7b [PartialInlining] Fix incorrect costing when IR has unreachable BBs
Partial Inlining identifies basic blocks that can be outlined into a
function. It is possible that an unreachable basic block is marked for
outlining. During costing of the outlined region, such unreachable basic
blocks are included as well. However, the CodeExtractor eliminates such
unreachable basic blocks and emits outlined function without them.

Thus, during costing of the outlined function, it is possible that the
cost of the outlined function comes out to be lesser than the cost of
outlined region, which triggers an assert.

Assertion `OutlinedFunctionCost >= Cloner.OutlinedRegionCost && "Outlined
function cost should be no less than the outlined region"' failed.

This patch adds code to eliminate unreachable blocks from the function
body before passing it on to be inlined. It also adds a test that checks
for behaviour of costing in case of unreachable basic blocks.

1768898680 [MemProf] Control availability of hot/cold operator new from LTO link
Adds an LTO option to indicate that whether we are linking with an
allocator that supports hot/cold operator new interfaces. If not,
at the start of the LTO backends any existing memprof hot/cold
attributes are removed from the IR, and we also remove memprof metadata
so that post-LTO inlining doesn't add any new attributes.

This is done via setting a new flag in the module summary index. It is
important to communicate via the index to the LTO backends so that
distributed ThinLTO handles this correctly, as they are invoked by
separate clang processes and the combined index is how we communicate
information from the LTO link. Specifically, for distributed ThinLTO the
LTO related processes look like:
```
   # Thin link:
   $ lld --thinlto-index-only obj1.o ... objN.o -llib ...
   # ThinLTO backends:
   $ clang -x ir obj1.o -fthinlto-index=obj1.o.thinlto.bc -c -O2
   ...
   $ clang -x ir objN.o -fthinlto-index=objN.o.thinlto.bc -c -O2
```

It is during the thin link (lld --thinlto-index-only) that we have
visibility into linker dependences and want to be able to pass the new
option via -Wl,-supports-hot-cold-new. This will be recorded in the
summary indexes created for the distributed backend processes
(*.thinlto.bc) and queried from there, so that we don't need to know
during those individual clang backends what allocation library was
linked. Since in-process ThinLTO and regular LTO also use a combined
index, for consistency we query the flag out of the index in all LTO
backends.

Additionally, when the LTO option is disabled, exit early from the
MemProfContextDisambiguation handling performed during LTO, as this is
unnecessary.

Depends on D149117 and D149192.

8606e91f2b Revert "[InstCombine] Improve bswap + logic_op optimization"
The generic cast to `BinaryOperator` can break if `V` is not a
`BinaryOperator` (i.e a `ConstantExpr`). This occurs in things like
PPC linux build.

This reverts commit fe733f54da6faca95070b36b1640dbca3e43d396.
