[Support] Include Support/thread.h before api implementations (#111175)
This header was included after the implementations to work around an
issue with FreeBSD, however, , this causes some issues when
dllexport\explicit visibility
attributes will be added to the headers on Windows, since the
definitions need to see the declarations for the attributes to apply.

This is part of the work to enable LLVM_BUILD_LLVM_DYLIB and plugins on
windows.

Fix have pthread_getname for some system (#110854)
I'm on a system that has have_pthread_getname_np defined but set to 0.
The correct behavior here is not to use the function, but presently the
macros will attempt to use a non-existing function.

[hurd] Fix accessing f_type field of statvfs (#71851)
f4719c4d2cda ("Add support for GNU Hurd in Path.inc and other places")
made llvm use an internal __f_type name for the f_type field (which it
is not supposed to since accessing double-underscore names is explicitly
not supported by standards). In glibc 2.39 this field was renamed to
f_type so application can now access the field as the standard says.

Reapply "[Support] Remove terminfo dependency (#92865)" (#93889)
This reverts commit fe82a3da36196157c0caa1ef2505186782f750d1.

This broke LLDB on MacOS due to a missing symbol during linking.

The fix has been applied in c6c08eee37bada190bd1aa4593c88a5e2c8cdaac.

Original commit message:

The terminfo dependency introduces a significant nonhermeticity into the
build. It doesn't respect `--no-undefined-version` meaning that it's not
a dependency that can be built with Clang 17+. This forces maintainers
of source-based distributions to implement patches or ignore linker
errors.

Remove it to reduce the closure size and improve portability of
LLVM-based tools. Users can still use command line arguments to toggle
color support expliticly.

[Support] Report EISDIR when opening a directory (#79880)
The test `llvm/unittests/Support/CommandLineTest.cpp` that handles
errors in expansion of response files was previously disabled for AIX.
Originally the code was dependent on `read` returning `EISDIR` which
occurs on platforms such as Linux. However, other platforms such as AIX
allow use of `read` on file descriptors for directories. This change
updates `readNativeFile` to produce `EISDIR` on AIX and z/OS when used
on a directory (instead of relying on the call to `read` to do so).

[llvm][Support] Use thread_local caching for llvm::get_threadid() query on Apple systems (#87219)
I was profiling our compiler and noticed that `llvm::get_threadid` was
at the top of the hotlist, taking up a surprising 5% (7 seconds) in the
profile trace. It seems that computing this on MacOS systems is
non-trivial, so cache the result in a thread_local.

[llvm][Support] Add and use errnoAsErrorCode (#84423)
LLVM is inconsistent about how it converts `errno` to `std::error_code`.
This can cause problems because values outside of `std::errc` compare
differently if one is system and one is generic on POSIX systems.

This is even more of a problem on Windows where use of the system
category is just wrong, as that is for Windows errors, which have a
completely different mapping than POSIX/generic errors. This patch fixes
one instance of this mistake in `JSONTransport.cpp`.

This patch adds `errnoAsErrorCode()` which makes it so people do not
need to think about this issue in the future. It also cleans up a lot of
usage of `errno` in LLVM and Clang.

[Support] Fix Process::PreventCoreFiles() when coredumps are piped
On many current Linux systems, coredumps are no longer dumped in the CWD
but instead piped to a utility such as systemd-coredumpd that stores
them in a deterministic location. This can be done by setting the
kernel.core_pattern sysctl to start with a '|'. However, when using such
a setup the kernel ignores a coredump limit of 0 (since there is no file
being written) and we can end up piping many gigabytes of data to
systemd-coredumpd which causes the test suite to freeze for a long time.
While most piped coredump handlers do respect the crashing processes'
RLIMIT_CORE, this is notable not the case for Debian's systemd-coredump
due to a local patch that changes sysctl.d/50-coredump.conf to ignore
the specified limit and instead use RLIM_INFINITY
(https://salsa.debian.org/systemd-team/systemd/-/commit/64599ffe44f0d).

Fortunately there is a workaround: the kernel recognizes the magic value
of 1 for RLIMIT_CORE to disable coredumps when piping. One byte is also
too small to generate any coredump, so it effectively behaves as if we
had set the value to zero.

The alternative to using RLIMIT_CORE=1 would be to use prctl() with the
PR_SET_DUMPABLE flag, however that also prevents ptrace(), so makes it
impossible to attach a debugger.

Reland "[llvm][Support] Add support for executing a detached process (#81708)" (#83367)
Relands #81708, which was reverted by
f410f74cd5b26319b5796e0404c6a0f3b5cc00a5, now with a corrected unit
test. Origionally the test failed on Windows when run with lit as
`GetConsoleWindow` could not retrieve a window handle regardless of
whether `DetachProcess` was `true` or `false`. The test now uses
`GetStdHandle(STD_OUTPUT_HANDLE)` which does not rely on a console
window existing. Original commit message below.

Adds a new parameter, `bool DetachProcess` with a default option of
`false`, to `llvm::sys::ExecuteNoWait`, which, when set to `true`,
executes the specified program without a controlling terminal.

Functionality added so that the module build daemon can be run without a
controlling terminal.

[Memory] Call __clear_cache in InvalidateInstructionCache on LoongArch (#67285)
As the comments of `InvalidateInstructionCache`: Before the JIT can run
a block of code that has been emitted it must invalidate the instruction
cache on some platforms. I think it applies to LoongArch as LoongArch
has a weak memory-model. But I'm not able to write a test to demonstrate
this issue. Perhaps self-modifing code should be wrote?

[AIX][PowerPC] Teach the Threading Library About the Number of Physical Cores on AIX (#67683)
The threading library does not recognize AIX and always returns `-1` for
number of physical cores on AIX. This PR teaches the library to
recognize AIX and obtain the correct value for the number of physical
cores.

8d3ff601a3 Fix symbolizer markup backtrace build/test.
This corrects a Darwin build failure due to a missing stub and an
environment-specific Linux test failure due to an overly restrictive
test regex. This also backs out of the previous fix attempt; %p is
intended to be printed and parsed with the semantics of #.

22b9404f09 Optionally print symbolizer markup backtraces.
When the environment LLVM_ENABLE_SYMBOLIZER_MARKUP is set, if
llvm-symbolizer fails or is disabled, this change will print a backtrace
in llvm-symbolizer markup instead of falling back to in-process
symbolization mechanisms.

This allows llvm-symbolizer to be run on the output later to produce a
high quality backtrace, even for fully-stripped LLVM utilities.

This has been obsoleted by C++ thread_local for a long time.
As far as I know, Xcode was the last supported toolchain to add
support for C++ thread_local in 2016.

As a precaution, use LLVM_THREAD_LOCAL which provides even greater
backwards compatibility, allowing this to function even pre-C++11
versions of GCC.

f09cf34d00 [Support] Move TargetParsers to new component
This is a fairly large changeset, but it can be broken into a few
pieces:
- `llvm/Support/*TargetParser*` are all moved from the LLVM Support
  component into a new LLVM Component called "TargetParser". This
  potentially enables using tablegen to maintain this information, as
  is shown in https://reviews.llvm.org/D137517. This cannot currently
  be done, as llvm-tblgen relies on LLVM's Support component.
- This also moves two files from Support which use and depend on
  information in the TargetParser:
  - `llvm/Support/Host.{h,cpp}` which contains functions for inspecting
    the current Host machine for info about it, primarily to support
    getting the host triple, but also for `-mcpu=native` support in e.g.
    Clang. This is fairly tightly intertwined with the information in
    `X86TargetParser.h`, so keeping them in the same component makes
    sense.
  - `llvm/ADT/Triple.h` and `llvm/Support/Triple.cpp`, which contains
    the target triple parser and representation. This is very intertwined
    with the Arm target parser, because the arm architecture version
    appears in canonical triples on arm platforms.
- I moved the relevant unittests to their own directory.

And so, we end up with a single component that has all the information
about the following, which to me seems like a unified component:
- Triples that LLVM Knows about
- Architecture names and CPUs that LLVM knows about
- CPU detection logic for LLVM

Given this, I have also moved `RISCVISAInfo.h` into this component, as
it seems to me to be part of that same set of functionality.

If you get link errors in your components after this patch, you likely
need to add TargetParser into LLVM_LINK_COMPONENTS in CMake.
