[MLIR][Python] Skip stubgen while any sanitizer is enabled (#164661)
The intention of this PR is described

When sanitizers are enabled, some additional setup (such as preloading
certain libraries) seems to be required for the stubgen step to work
properly
(https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/164197#issuecomment-3432924034).
In this case, I chose to simply skip the stubgen process, as supporting
it would likely require some extra CMake logic, and type stubs don’t
appear to be particularly necessary in this configuration.

[mlir][python] Add bindings for OpenACC dialect (#163620)
Adds initial support for Python bindings to the OpenACC dialect.

* The bindings do not provide any niceties yet, just the barebones
exposure of the dialect to Python. Construction of OpenACC ops is
therefore verbose and somewhat inconvenient, as evidenced by the test.
* The test only constructs one module, but I attempted to use enough
operations to be meaningful. It does not test all the ops exposed, but
does contain a realistic example of a memcpy idiom.

[MLIR][Python] use FetchContent_Declare for nanobind and remove pybind (#161230)
Inspired by this comment
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/157930#issuecomment-3346634290
(and long-standing issues related to finding nanobind/pybind in the
right place), this PR moves to using `FetchContent_Declare` to get the
nanobind dependency. This is pretty standard (see e.g.,
[IREE](cf60359b74/CMakeLists.txt (L842-L848))).
This PR also removes pybind which has been deprecated for almost a year
(https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/117922) and which isn't
compatible (for whatever reason) with `FetchContent_Declare`.

[MLIR][Python] don't generate type stubs when cross-compiling (#160793)
Stubgen doesn't work when cross-compiling (stubgen will run in the host
interpreter and then fail to find the extension module for the host
arch). So disable it when `CMAKE_CROSSCOMPILING=ON`.

[MLIR][Transform][SMT] Introduce transform.smt.constrain_params (#159450)
Introduces a Transform-dialect SMT-extension so that we can have an op
to express constrains on Transform-dialect params, in particular when
these params are knobs -- see transform.tune.knob -- and can hence be
seen as symbolic variables. This op allows expressing joint constraints
over multiple params/knobs together.

While the op's semantics are clearly defined, per SMTLIB, the interpreted
semantics -- i.e. the `apply()` method -- for now just defaults to failure. In
the future we should support attaching an implementation so that users
can Bring Your Own Solver and thereby control performance of 
interpreting the op. For now the main usage is to walk schedule IR and 
collect these constraints so that knobs can be rewritten to constants that
satisfy the constraints.

[MLIR][Python] reland (narrower) type stub generation (#157930)
This a reland of https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/155741 which
was reverted at https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/157831. This
version is narrower in scope - it only turns on automatic stub
generation for `MLIRPythonExtension.Core._mlir` and **does not do
anything automatically**. Specifically, the only CMake code added to
`AddMLIRPython.cmake` is the `mlir_generate_type_stubs` function which
is then used only in a manual way. The API for
`mlir_generate_type_stubs` is:

Arguments:
  MODULE_NAME: The fully-qualified name of the extension module (used for importing in python).
  DEPENDS_TARGETS: List of targets these type stubs depend on being built; usually corresponding to the
    specific extension module (e.g., something like StandalonePythonModules.extension._standaloneDialectsNanobind.dso)
    and the core bindings extension module (e.g., something like StandalonePythonModules.extension._mlir.dso).
  OUTPUT_DIR: The root output directory to emit the type stubs into.
  OUTPUTS: List of expected outputs.
  DEPENDS_TARGET_SRC_DEPS: List of cpp sources for extension library (for generating a DEPFILE).
  IMPORT_PATHS: List of paths to add to PYTHONPATH for stubgen.
  PATTERN_FILE: (Optional) Pattern file (see https://nanobind.readthedocs.io/en/latest/typing.html#pattern-files).
Outputs:
  NB_STUBGEN_CUSTOM_TARGET: The target corresponding to generation which other targets can depend on.
```

Downstream users should use `mlir_generate_type_stubs` in coordination
with `declare_mlir_python_sources` to turn on stub generation for their
own downstream dialect extensions and upstream dialect extensions if
they so choose. Standalone example shows an example.

Note, downstream will also need to set
`-DMLIR_PYTHON_PACKAGE_PREFIX=...` correctly for their bindings.

[MLIR][Python] Add python bindings for IRDL dialect (#158488)
In this PR we add basic python bindings for IRDL dialect, so that python
users can create and load IRDL dialects in python. This allows users, to
some extent, to define dialects in Python without having to modify
MLIR’s CMake/TableGen/C++ code and rebuild, making prototyping more
convenient.

A basic example is shown below (and also in the added test case):

Despite several hotfixes, things remain broken, in particular:

- installation/distribution (`ninja install / install-distribution`);
- downstream projects with bindings exposed.

Reverts #155741, #157583, #157697. Let's make sure things are fixed and
re-land as a unit.

[MLIR][Python] fix stubgen (#157583)
In https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/155741 I broke the cardinal
rule of CMake: nothing happens when you think it happens 🤷. Meaning:
`declare_mlir_python_sources(SOURCES_GLOB
"_mlir_libs/${_module_name}/**/*.pyi")` wasn't picking up any sources
_because they aren't generated yet_. This of course makes sense in
retrospect (the stubs are generated as part of the build process, post
extension compile, rather than the configure process).

Thus, the API needs to be:

```
GENERATE_TYPE_STUBS: List of generated type stubs expected from stubgen, relative to _mlir_libs.
```

Partially as a result of this omission, the stubs weren't being
installed into either the build dir nor the install dir. That is also
fixed now:

[MLIR][Python] enable type stub auto-generation (#155741)
This PR turns on automatic type stub generation (rather than relying on
hand-written/updated stubs). It uses nanobind's [stubgen
facility](https://nanobind.readthedocs.io/en/latest/typing.html#stub-generation).
If you would like to enable this functionality you can add
`GENERATE_TYPE_STUBS` to `declare_mlir_python_extension` .

[MLIR][Transform] Introduce transform.tune.knob op (#146732)
A new transform op to represent that an attribute is to be chosen from a
set of alternatives and that this choice is made available as a
`!transform.param`. When a `selected` argument is provided, the op's
`apply()` semantics is that of just making this selected attribute
available as the result. When `selected` is not provided, `apply()`
complains that nothing has resolved the non-determinism that the op is
representing.

[MLIR][Transform] expose transform.debug extension in Python (#145550)
Removes the Debug... prefix on the ops in tablegen, in line with pretty
much all other Transform-dialect extension ops. This means that the ops
in Python look like
`debug.EmitParamAsRemarkOp`/`debug.emit_param_as_remark` instead of
`debug.DebugEmitParamAsRemarkOp`/`debug.debug_emit_param_as_remark`.

[mlir python] Port in-tree dialects to nanobind. (#119924)
This is a companion to #118583, although it can be landed independently
because since #117922 dialects do not have to use the same Python
binding framework as the Python core code.

This PR ports all of the in-tree dialect and pass extensions to
nanobind, with the exception of those that remain for testing pybind11
support.

This PR also:
* removes CollectDiagnosticsToStringScope from NanobindAdaptors.h. This
was overlooked in a previous PR and it is duplicated in Diagnostics.h.

[mlir python] Port Python core code to nanobind. (#120473)
Relands #118583, with a fix for Python 3.8 compatibility. It was not
possible to set the buffer protocol accessers via slots in Python 3.8.

Why? https://nanobind.readthedocs.io/en/latest/why.html says it better
than I can, but my primary motivation for this change is to improve MLIR
IR construction time from JAX.

For a complicated Google-internal LLM model in JAX, this change improves
the MLIR
lowering time by around 5s (out of around 30s), which is a significant
speedup for simply switching binding frameworks.

To a large extent, this is a mechanical change, for instance changing
`pybind11::` to `nanobind::`.

Notes:
* this PR needs Nanobind 2.4.0, because it needs a bug fix
(https://github.com/wjakob/nanobind/pull/806) that landed in that
release.
* this PR does not port the in-tree dialect extension modules. They can
be ported in a future PR.
* I removed the py::sibling() annotations from def_static and def_class
in `PybindAdapters.h`. These ask pybind11 to try to form an overload
with an existing method, but it's not possible to form mixed
pybind11/nanobind overloads this ways and the parent class is now
defined in nanobind. Better solutions may be possible here.
* nanobind does not contain an exact equivalent of pybind11's buffer
protocol support. It was not hard to add a nanobind implementation of a
similar API.
* nanobind is pickier about casting to std::vector<bool>, expecting that
the input is a sequence of bool types, not truthy values. In a couple of
places I added code to support truthy values during casting.
* nanobind distinguishes bytes (`nb::bytes`) from strings (e.g.,
`std::string`). This required nb::bytes overloads in a few places.

[mlir python] Add nanobind support for standalone dialects. (#117922)
This PR allows out-of-tree dialects to write Python dialect modules
using nanobind instead of pybind11.

It may make sense to migrate in-tree dialects and some of the ODS Python
infrastructure to nanobind, but that is a topic for a future change.

This PR makes the following changes:
* adds nanobind to the CMake and Bazel build systems. We also add
robin_map to the Bazel build, which is a dependency of nanobind.
* adds a PYTHON_BINDING_LIBRARY option to various CMake functions, such
as declare_mlir_python_extension, allowing users to select a Python
binding library.
* creates a fork of mlir/include/mlir/Bindings/Python/PybindAdaptors.h
named NanobindAdaptors.h. This plays the same role, using nanobind
instead of pybind11.
* splits CollectDiagnosticsToStringScope out of PybindAdaptors.h and
into a new header mlir/include/mlir/Bindings/Python/Diagnostics.h, since
it is code that is no way related to pybind11 or for that matter,
Python.
* changed the standalone Python extension example to have both pybind11
and nanobind variants.
* changed mlir/python/mlir/dialects/python_test.py to have both pybind11
and nanobind variants.

Notes:
* A slightly unfortunate thing that I needed to do in the CMake
integration was to use FindPython in addition to FindPython3, since
nanobind's CMake integration expects the Python_ names for variables.
Perhaps there's a better way to do this.

[mlir] Add PDL C & Python usage (#94714)
Following a rather direct approach to expose PDL usage from C and then
Python. This doesn't yes plumb through adding support for custom
matchers through this interface, so constrained to basics initially.

This also exposes greedy rewrite driver. Only way currently to define
patterns is via PDL (just to keep small). The creation of the PDL
pattern module could be improved to avoid folks potentially accessing
the module used to construct it post construction. No ergonomic work
done yet.

[MLIR][transform][python] add sugared python abstractions for transform dialect (#75073)
This adds Python abstractions for the different handle types of the
transform dialect

The abstractions allow for straightforward chaining of transforms by
calling their member functions.
As an initial PR for this infrastructure, only a single transform is
included: `transform.structured.match`.
With a future `tile` transform abstraction an example of the usage is: 
```Python
def script(module: OpHandle):
    module.match_ops(MatchInterfaceEnum.TilingInterface).tile(tile_sizes=[32,32])
```
to generate the following IR:
```mlir
%0 = transform.structured.match interface{TilingInterface} in %arg0
%tiled_op, %loops = transform.structured.tile_using_for %0 [32, 32]
```

These abstractions are intended to enhance the usability and flexibility
of the transform dialect by providing an accessible interface that
allows for easy assembly of complex transformation chains.

[mlir][python] remove mixins (#68853)
This PR replaces the mixin `OpView` extension mechanism with the
standard inheritance mechanism.

Why? Firstly, mixins are not very pythonic (inheritance is usually used
for this), a little convoluted, and too "tight" (can only be used in the
immediately adjacent `_ext.py`). Secondly, it (mixins) are now blocking
are correct implementation of "value builders" (see
[here](https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/68764)) where the
problem becomes how to choose the correct base class that the value
builder should call.

This PR looks big/complicated but appearances are deceiving; 4 things
were needed to make this work:

1. Drop `skipDefaultBuilders` in
`OpPythonBindingGen::emitDefaultOpBuilders`
2. Former mixin extension classes are converted to inherit from the
generated `OpView` instead of being "mixins"
a. extension classes that simply were calling into an already generated
`super().__init__` continue to do so
b. (almost all) extension classes that were calling `self.build_generic`
because of a lack of default builder being generated can now also just
call `super().__init__`
3. To handle the [lone single
use-case](https://sourcegraph.com/search?q=context%3Aglobal+select_opview_mixin&patternType=standard&sm=1&groupBy=repo)
of `select_opview_mixin`, namely
[linalg](https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/blob/main/mlir/python/mlir/dialects/_linalg_ops_ext.py#L38),
only a small change was necessary in `opdsl/lang/emitter.py` (thanks to
the emission/generation of default builders/`__init__`s)
4. since the `extend_opview_class` decorator is removed, we need a way
to register extension classes as the desired `OpView` that `op.opview`
conjures into existence; so we do the standard thing and just enable
replacing the existing registered `OpView` i.e.,
`register_operation(_Dialect, replace=True)`.

Note, the upgrade path for the common case is to change an extension to
inherit from the generated builder and decorate it with
`register_operation(_Dialect, replace=True)`. In the slightly more
complicated case where `super().__init(self.build_generic(...))` is
called in the extension's `__init__`, this needs to be updated to call
`__init__` in `OpView`, i.e., the grandparent (see updated docs). 
Note, also `<DIALECT>_ext.py` files/modules will no longer be automatically loaded.

Note, the PR has 3 base commits that look funny but this was done for
the purpose of tracking the line history of moving the
`<DIALECT>_ops_ext.py` class into `<DIALECT>.py` and updating (commit
labeled "fix").

[mlir][python] python binding for the affine.store op (#68816)
This PR creates the necessary files to support bindings for operations
in the affine dialect.

This is the first of many PRs which will progressively introduce
affine.load, affine.for, etc operations. I would like to
acknowledge the work by Nelli's author @makslevental :

which jump-starts the work.

[mlir][python] smaller scope for vector enumgen (#66992)
Don't generate enums from the main VectorOps.td file as that
transitively includes enums from Arith.
