[llvm-nm][WebAssembly] Print function symbol sizes (#81315)
nm already prints sizes for data symbols. Do that for function symbols 
too, and update objdump to also print size information.

[llvm-driver] Fix usage of InitLLVM on Windows (#76306)
Previously, some tools such as `clang` or `lld` which require strict
order for certain command-line options, such as `clang -cc1` or `lld
-flavor`, would not longer work on Windows, when these tools were linked
as part of `llvm-driver`. This was caused by `InitLLVM` which was part
of the `*_main()` function of these tools, which in turn calls
`windows::GetCommandLineArguments`. That function completly replaces
argc/argv by new UTF-8 contents, so any ajustements to argc/argv made by
`llvm-driver` prior to calling these tools was reset.

`InitLLVM` is now called by the `llvm-driver`. Any tool that
participates in (or is part of) the `llvm-driver` doesn't call
`InitLLVM` anymore.

I'm planning to deprecate and eventually remove
StringRef::{starts,ends}with.

[dsymutil] Add support for mergeable libraries
This adds support in dsymutil for mergeable libraries [1].

dsymutil reads a new stab emitted by ld, allowing it to operate on
dynamic libraries instead of object files. It also now loads the DWARF
files associated to the libraries, and build the debug map for each
binary from the list of symbols exported by the library. For each Debug
Map Object, there is a new associated Relocation Map which is serialized
from the information retrieved in the original debug_info (or
debug_addr) section of the .o file.

The final DWARF file has multiple compile units, so the offsets
information of the relocations are adjusted relatively to the compile
unit they will end up belonging to, inside the final linked DWARF file.

[NFC] refactor demangle of llvm-nm (#67481)

[llvm-cxxfilt] Do not consider the prefix dot as part of the demangled
symbol name`. we can simply the code on the llvm-nm demanlge by using
the llvm::demangle directly.

c649f29c24 [llvm-nm] Add --line-numbers flag
This parallels the binutils/BSD flag of the same name. Debugging
information is loaded to print line number information for symbols.
Defined symbols are symbolized by their section addresses, and undefined
symbols by their first text reloc with line info.

[TextAPI] Consolidate TextAPI Reader/Writer APIs. (#66108)
Both Swift & LLD use TextAPI reader/writer apis to interface with TBD
files. Add doc strings to document what each API does. Also, add
shortcut APIs for validating input is a TBD file.

This reduces the differences between downstream and how tapi calls into
these APIs.

[llvm-nm] Fix heap-use-after-free while executing 'llvm-nm -n --export-symbols' (#65668)
Use symbol's flags saved in `NMSymbol::SymFlags` inside
`NMSymbol::isDefined()` since `BasicSymbolRef::getFlags()` requires the
symbol's containing entity object to exist (which doesn't, causing
llvm-nm to crash).

[llvm-nm] Fix msan error in llvm-nm/wasm/weak-symbols.yaml.test (#65538)
This happened because we had a section

         Name:            weak_import_data
         Flags:           [ BINDING_WEAK, UNDEFINED ]
```

Which does not have size. We managed to reproduce it by building llvm
under msan with libcxx as a standard library and debug mode with
-D_LIBCPP_DEBUG_STRICT_WEAK_ORDERING_CHECK. It called comp(a, a) and
full tie detected uninitialized memory

This started to happen after https://reviews.llvm.org/D158799

282bf213ee [llvm-nm][MachO] Add support for MH_FILESET
Support printing of symbols for MachO of `MH_FILESET` type.
This is achieved by extending `dumpSymbolNamesFromObject`
to encompass fileset handling, and including an offset in
`MachOObjectFile` class to locate embedded MachO headers.

adc317d369 llvm-nm ignore the Import symbol file for the --export-symbol option.
Summary:

On AIX OS, clang may use llvm-nm to export the symbols from all input files (see 515c435e37/clang/lib/Driver/ToolChains/AIX.cpp (L236)). However, the clang command-line may include import files (identified by them starting with #!). llvm-nm previously reported "invalid object file" errors for import files, meaning that the clang driver would fail to link when import files are included this way.

In this patch, llvm-nm is changed to ignore import files when the --export-symbol option, meaning that clang will now succeed in this case.

3f092f37b7 [llvm] Extract common OptTable bits into macros
All command-line tools using `llvm::opt` create an enum of option IDs and a table of `OptTable::Info` object. Most of the tools use the same ID (`OPT_##ID`), kind (`Option::KIND##Class`), group ID (`OPT_##GROUP`) and alias ID (`OPT_##ALIAS`). This patch extracts that common code into canonical macros. This results in fewer changes when tweaking the `OPTION` macros emitted by the TableGen backend.

c06a314150 [CSKY] Make mapping symbols SF_FormatSpecific
and omit them from llvm-nm output unless --special-syms is specified,
similar to ARM and AArch64.

This is a prerequisite of D156190 as llvm-objdump will only perform
mapping symbol recognition for SF_FormatSpecific symbols.

61e1c3d80d [Demangle] convert itaniumDemangle and nonMicrosoftDemangle to use std::string_view
D149104 converted llvm::demangle to use std::string_view. Enabling
"expensive checks" (via -DLLVM_ENABLE_EXPENSIVE_CHECKS=ON) causes
lld/test/wasm/why-extract.s to fail. The reason for this is obscure:

Reason #10007 why std::string_view is dangerous:
Consider the following pattern:

  std::string_view s = ...;
  const char *c = s.data();
  std::strlen(c);

Is c a NUL-terminated C style string? It depends; but if it's not then
it's not safe to call std::strlen on the std::string_view::data().
std::string_view::length() should be used instead.

Fixing this fixes the one lone test that caught this.

microsoftDemangle, rustDemangle, and dlangDemangle should get this same
treatment, too. I will do that next.

85a2c50ec4 [llvm-nm] Print EC symbol map.
This is useful for examining ARM64EC static libraries and allows
better llvm-lib testing. Changes to Archive class will also be
useful for LLD to support ARM64EC, where it will need to use one
map or the other, depending on linking target (or both, in case of
ARM64X, but separately as they are in different namespaces).

d768bf994f [NFC][TargetParser] Replace uses of llvm/Support/Host.h
The forwarding header is left in place because of its use in
`polly/lib/External/isl/interface/extract_interface.cc`, but I have
added a GCC warning about the fact it is deprecated, because it is used
in `isl` from where it is included by Polly.

[OptTable] Precompute OptTable prefixes union table through tablegen
This avoid rediscovering this table when reading each options, providing
a sensible 2% speedup when processing and empty file, and a measurable
speedup on typical workloads, see:

This is optional, the legacy, on-the-fly, approach can still be used
through the GenericOptTable class, while the new one is used through
PrecomputedOptTable.

Move from llvm::makeArrayRef to ArrayRef deduction guides - llvm/ part
Use deduction guides instead of helper functions.

The only non-automatic changes have been:

1. ArrayRef(some_uint8_pointer, 0) needs to be changed into ArrayRef(some_uint8_pointer, (size_t)0) to avoid an ambiguous call with ArrayRef((uint8_t*), (uint8_t*))
2. CVSymbol sym(makeArrayRef(symStorage)); needed to be rewritten as CVSymbol sym{ArrayRef(symStorage)}; otherwise the compiler is confused and thinks we have a (bad) function prototype. There was a few similar situation across the codebase.
3. ADL doesn't seem to work the same for deduction-guides and functions, so at some point the llvm namespace must be explicitly stated.
4. The "reference mode" of makeArrayRef(ArrayRef<T> &) that acts as no-op is not supported (a constructor cannot achieve that).

Per reviewers' comment, some useless makeArrayRef have been removed in the process.

the deduction guides.

This a recommit of e953ae5bbc313fd0cc980ce021d487e5b5199ea4 and the subsequent fixes caa713559bd38f337d7d35de35686775e8fb5175 and 06b90e2e9c991e211fecc97948e533320a825470.

The above patchset caused some version of GCC to take eons to compile clang/lib/Basic/Targets/AArch64.cpp, as spotted in aa171833ab0017d9732e82b8682c9848ab25ff9e.
The fix is to make BuiltinInfo tables a compilation unit static variable, instead of a private static variable.

Store OptTable::Info::Name as a StringRef
This is a recommit of 8ae18303f97d5dcfaecc90b4d87effb2011ed82e,
with a few cleanups.

This avoids implicit conversion to StringRef at several points, which in
turns avoid redundant calls to strlen.

As a side effect, this greatly simplifies the implementation of
StrCmpOptionNameIgnoreCase.

It also eventually gives a consistent, humble speedup in compilation
time (timing updated since original commit).

b4482f7ca0 [tools] Use std::nullopt instead of None (NFC)
This patch mechanically replaces None with std::nullopt where the
compiler would warn if None were deprecated.  The intent is to reduce
the amount of manual work required in migrating from Optional to
std::optional.

This is part of an effort to migrate from llvm::Optional to

d5090cd94a [llvm-driver] Add various tools to the llvm-driver

b135358877 [AIX] llvm-nm support environment "OBJECT_MODE" for option -X on AIX OS
Summary:

according nm in AIX OS , https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/aix/7.2?topic=n-nm-command

In AIX OS, The default is to process 32-bit object files (ignore 64-bit objects). The mode can also be set with the OBJECT_MODE environment variable. For example, OBJECT_MODE=64 causes nm to process any 64-bit objects and ignore 32-bit objects. The -X flag overrides the OBJECT_MODE variable.

In non AIX OS. The default is to process all support object files. and not support the OBJECT_MODE environment variable.

c4c01e4e4e [llvm-nm] Always use opaque pointers (PR55506)
Always enable opaque pointers in llvm-nm, because the tool doesn't
actually care, and this allows us to read both typed pointer and
opaque pointer bitcode files in one archive. Previously this
depended on the order inside the archive (it would work with an
opaque pointer bitcode file first, but fail with a typed pointer
bitcode file first).

fd3ba1f862 Title: Export unique symbol list with llvm-nm new option "--export-symbols"
Summary:

the patch implement of following functionality.
1. export the symbols from archive or object files.
2. sort the export symbols. (based on same symbol name and visibility)
3. delete the duplicate export symbols (based on same symbol name and visibility)
4. print out the  unique and sorted export symbols (print the symbol name and visibility).

there are two new options are add in the patch
1. --export-symbols (enable the functionality of export unique symbol)
2. --no-rsrc (exclude the symbol name begin with "__rsrc" from be exporting from xcoff object file)

0135aa7b98 [llvm-nm] add a new option -X to specify the type of object file llvm-nm should examine
Summary:
Added a new option "-X" to specify, which type of object file should be examine.

For example:

1. "llvm-nm -X64 archive.a" only deal with the 64bit object files in the archive.a ,ignore the all 32bit object files in the archive.a
2. "llvm-nm -X32 xcoffobj32.o xcoffobj64.o " only deal with the 32bit object file "xcoffobj32.o" , 64bit object file "xcoffobj64.o" will be ignored
