52f6ed099c Move Personalities array from MachineModuleInfo to DwarfCFIException.
It was only ever used there, already. The previous location seems
left-over from when the personality function was specified on a
per-landingpad basis, instead of per-function.

648ce3d358 Cleanup unwind table emission code a bit.
This change removes the `tidyLandingPads` function, which previously
had a few responsibilities:

1. Dealing with the deletion of an invoke, after MachineFunction lowering.
2. Dealing with the deletion of a landing pad BB, after MachineFunction lowering.
3. Cleaning up the type-id list generated by `MachineFunction::addLandingPad`.

Case 3 has been fixed in the generator, and the others are now handled
during table emission.

This change also removes `MachineFunction`'s `addCatchTypeInfo`,
`addFilterTypeInfo`, and `addCleanup` helper fns, as they had a single
caller, and being outlined didn't make it simpler.

Finally, as calling `tidyLandingPads` was effectively the only thing
`DwarfCFIExceptionBase` did, that class has been eliminated.

4af73d7ebb Refactor AsmPrinterHandler callbacks. NFCI.
The existing behaviors and callbacks were overlapping and had very
confusing semantics: beginBasicBlock/endBasicBlock were not always
called, beginFragment/endFragment seemed like they were meant to mean
the same thing, but were slightly different, etc. This resulted in
confusing semantics, virtual method overloads, and control flow.

Remove the above, and replace with new beginBasicBlockSection and
endBasicBlockSection callbacks. And document them.

These are always called before the first and after the last blocks in
a function, even when basic-block-sections are disabled.

a2505bd063 [PowerPC][AIX] Override markFunctionEnd()
During fast-isel calling 'markFunctionEnd' in the base class will call
tidyLandingPads. This can cause an issue where we have determined that
we need ehinfo and emitted a traceback table with the bits set to
indicate that we will be emitting the ehinfo, but the tidying deletes
all landing pads. In this case we end up emitting a reference to
__ehinfo.N symbol, but not emitting a definition to said symbol and the
resulting file fails to assemble.

a65d8c5d72 [XCOFF][AIX] Generate LSDA data and compact unwind section on AIX
Summary:
AIX uses the existing EH infrastructure in clang and llvm.
The major differences would be
1. AIX do not have CFI instructions.
2. AIX uses a new personality routine, named __xlcxx_personality_v1.
It doesn't use the GCC personality rountine, because the
interoperability is not there yet on AIX.
3. AIX do not use eh_frame sections. Instead, it would use a eh_info
section (compat unwind section) to store the information about
personality routine and LSDA data address.

c3e6555616 Call Frame Information (CFI) Handling for Basic Block Sections
This patch handles CFI with basic block sections, which unlike DebugInfo does
not support ranges. The DWARF standard explicitly requires emitting separate
CFI Frame Descriptor Entries for each contiguous fragment of a function. Thus,
the CFI information for all callee-saved registers (possibly including the
frame pointer, if necessary) have to be emitted along with redefining the
Call Frame Address (CFA), viz. where the current frame starts.

CFI directives are emitted in FDE’s in the object file with a low_pc, high_pc
specification. So, a single FDE must point to a contiguous code region unlike
debug info which has the support for ranges. This is what complicates CFI for
basic block sections.

Now, what happens when we start placing individual basic blocks in unique
sections:

* Basic block sections allow the linker to randomly reorder basic blocks in the
address space such that a given basic block can become non-contiguous with the
original function.
* The different basic block sections can no longer share the cfi_startproc and
cfi_endproc directives. So, each basic block section should emit this
independently.
* Each (cfi_startproc, cfi_endproc) directive will result in a new FDE that
caters to that basic block section.
* Now, this basic block section needs to duplicate the information from the
entry block to compute the CFA as it is an independent entity. It cannot refer
to the FDE of the original function and hence must duplicate all the stuff that
is needed to compute the CFA on its own.
* We are working on a de-duplication patch that can share common information in
FDEs in a CIE (Common Information Entry) and we will present this as a follow up
patch. This can significantly reduce the duplication overhead and is
particularly useful when several basic block sections are created.
* The CFI directives are emitted similarly for registers that are pushed onto
the stack, like callee saved registers in the prologue. There are cfi
directives that emit how to retrieve the value of the register at that point
when the push happened. This has to be duplicated too in a basic block that is
floated as a separate section.

2946cd7010 Update the file headers across all of the LLVM projects in the monorepo
to reflect the new license.

We understand that people may be surprised that we're moving the header
entirely to discuss the new license. We checked this carefully with the
Foundation's lawyer and we believe this is the correct approach.

Essentially, all code in the project is now made available by the LLVM
project under our new license, so you will see that the license headers
include that license only. Some of our contributors have contributed
code under our old license, and accordingly, we have retained a copy of
our old license notice in the top-level files in each project and
repository.

d09b416943 Use assembler expressions to lay out the EH LSDA.
Rely on the assembler to finalize the layout of the DWARF/Itanium
exception-handling LSDA. Rather than calculate the exact size of each
thing in the LSDA, use assembler directives:

To emit the offset to the TTBase label:

.uleb128 .Lttbase0-.Lttbaseref0
.Lttbaseref0:

To emit the size of the call site table:

.uleb128 .Lcst_end0-.Lcst_begin0
.Lcst_begin0:
... call site table entries ...
.Lcst_end0:

To align the type info table:

... action table ...
.balign 4
.long _ZTIi
.long _ZTIl
.Lttbase0:

Using assembler directives simplifies the compiler and allows switching
the encoding of offsets in the call site table from udata4 to uleb128 for
a large code size savings. (This commit does not change the encoding.)

The combination of the uleb128 followed by a balign creates an unfortunate
dependency cycle that the assembler must sometimes resolve either by
padding an LEB or by inserting zero padding before the type table. See
PR35809 or GNU as bug 4029.

a60017902c Print jump tables before exception tables.
In the case where just tables are part of the function section, this produces
more readable assembly by avoiding switching to the eh section and back

This would also break with non unique section names, as trying to switch to
a unique section actually creates a new one.

a17151ad5a Add a MCTargetStreamer interface.
This patch fixes an old FIXME by creating a MCTargetStreamer interface
and moving the target specific functions for ARM, Mips and PPC to it.

The ARM streamer is still declared in a common place because it is
used from lib/CodeGen/ARMException.cpp, but the Mips and PPC are
completely hidden in the corresponding Target directories.

I will send an email to llvmdev with instructions on how to use this.

It was just a less powerful and more confusing version of

should allow further simplifications.
