26fdad031c [MIPS] Fix useDeprecatedPositionallyEncodedOperands errors.
This is a follow-on to https://reviews.llvm.org/D134073.

The number of MIPS16 changes here is a bit surprising. Many of the
fields with mismatched names were NOT previously choosing the correct
argument positionally, but instead doing something completely wrong
(e.g. it would encode a register where an immediate was expected).

But, machine-code generation for MIPS16 has never actually functioned.
It's also fully untested, thus, the MIPS16 changes, despite changing
behavior, breaks (and fixes) zero tests. This change does not fix
MIPS16 output, but it ought to be at least incrementally less broken.

Outside MIPS16, I believe the only functional change is to the 'ginvi'
instruction: it was previously encoding garbage into a field which was
specified to be '00'. Fortunately, it was covered by tests -- and the
tests were testing the incorrect behavior. So, fixed.

1e4f82c257 [AArch64]SME2 Multi-single vector SVE Destructive 2 and 4 Registers
This patch adds the assembly/disassembly for the following instructions:
ADD (to vector): Add replicated single vector to multi-vector with multi-vector result.
SQDMULH (multiple and single vector): Multi-vector signed saturating doubling multiply high by vector.
for 2 and 4 ZA SVE registers.

The reference can be found here:

https://developer.arm.com/documentation/ddi0602/2022-09

It also adds more size for the multiple register tuple:
  ZZ_b_mul_r, ZZ_h_mul_r,
  ZZZZ_b_mul_r, ZZZZ_h_mul_r,
for 8 bits and 16 bits with 2 and 4 ZA registers.

Depends on: D135468

3daf7ddaef [GlobalISel] Allow prelegalizer combiners to have access to LegalizerInfo.
Before, the isPreLegalize() query in CombinerHelper only checked for the
presence of a LegalizerInfo object. This is problematic when we want to have
a combine actually check for legality in a pre-legalizer combine pass, since
if we pass a LegalizerInfo object to the constructor it causes the combines to
think that we're running *post* legalizer, which isn't true.

This change fixes it to instead check an explicit bool that passes to signal
whether the pass will be run before or after legalization.

Doing so exposed a bug in the extending loads combine, which tried to check for
legality of candidate extending loads if LegalizerInfo was present. Since we
only ran it pre-legalizer and therefore with a null LegalizerInfo, it never
actually ran. Also fixes the legality checks to keep the tests passing.

5351878ba1 [TableGen] Add useDeprecatedPositionallyEncodedOperands option.
Summary:
The existing undefined-bitfield-to-operand matching behavior is very
hard to understand, due to the combination of positional and named
matching. This can make it difficult to track down a bug in a target's
instruction definitions.

Over the last decade, folks have tried to work-around this in various
ways, but it's time to finally ditch the positional matching. With
https://reviews.llvm.org/D131003, there are no longer cases that
_require_ positional matching, and it's time to start removing usage
and support for it.

Therefore: add a (default-false) option, and set it to true only in
those targets that require positional matching today. Subsequent
changes will start cleaning up additional in-tree targets.

NOTE TO OUT OF TREE TARGET MAINTAINERS:

If this change breaks your build, you may restore the previous
behavior simply by adding:
  let useDeprecatedPositionallyEncodedOperands = 1;
to your target's InstrInfo tablegen definition. However, this is
temporary -- the option will be removed in the future.

If your target does not set 'decodePositionallyEncodedOperands', you
may thus start migrating to named operands. However, if you _do_
currently set that option, I recommend waiting until a subsequent
change lands, which adds decoder support for named sub-operands.

5e96cea1db [llvm] Use std::size instead of llvm::array_lengthof
LLVM contains a helpful function for getting the size of a C-style

helpful for C++17 or later: `std::size` already has support for C-style
arrays.

Change call sites to use `std::size` instead.

f9de13232f [X86] Promote i8/i16 CTTZ (BSF) instructions and remove speculation branch
This patch adds a Type operand to the TLI isCheapToSpeculateCttz/isCheapToSpeculateCtlz callbacks, allowing targets to decide whether branches should occur on a type-by-type/legality basis.

For X86, this patch proposes to allow CTTZ speculation for i8/i16 types that will lower to promoted i32 BSF instructions by masking the operand above the msb (we already do something similar for i8/i16 TZCNT). This required a minor tweak to CTTZ lowering - if the src operand is known never zero (i.e. due to the promotion masking) we can remove the CMOV zero src handling.

Although BSF isn't very fast, most CPUs from the last 20 years don't do that bad a job with it, although there are some annoying passthrough EFLAGS dependencies. Additionally, now that we emit 'REP BSF' in most cases, we are tending towards assuming this will most likely be executed as a TZCNT instruction on any semi-modern CPU.

38107171ed [RegisterInfoEmitter] Generate isConstantPhysReg(). NFCI
This commit moves the information on whether a register is constant into
the Tablegen files to allow generating the implementaiton of
isConstantPhysReg(). I've marked isConstantPhysReg() as final in this
generated file to ensure that changes are made to tablegen instead of
overriding this function, but if that turns out to be too restrictive,
we can remove the qualifier.

This should be pretty much NFC, but I did notice that e.g. the AMDGPU
generated file also includes the LO16/HI16 registers now.

The new isConstant flag will also be used by D131958 to ensure that
constant registers are marked as call-preserved.

3e0bf1c7a9 [CodeGen] Move instruction predicate verification to emitInstruction
D25618 added a method to verify the instruction predicates for an
emitted instruction, through verifyInstructionPredicates added into
<Target>MCCodeEmitter::encodeInstruction. This is a very useful idea,
but the implementation inside MCCodeEmitter made it only fire for object
files, not assembly which most of the llvm test suite uses.

This patch moves the code into the <Target>_MC::verifyInstructionPredicates
method, inside the InstrInfo. The allows it to be called from other
places, such as in this patch where it is called from the
<Target>AsmPrinter::emitInstruction methods which should trigger for
both assembly and object files. It can also be called from other places
such as verifyInstruction, but that is not done here (it tends to catch
errors earlier, but in reality just shows all the mir tests that have
incorrect feature predicates). The interface was also simplified
slightly, moving computeAvailableFeatures into the function so that it
does not need to be called externally.

The ARM, AMDGPU (but not R600), AVR, Mips and X86 backends all currently
show errors in the test-suite, so have been disabled with FIXME
comments.

Recommitted with some fixes for the leftover MCII variables in release

80b3dcc045 [Support] Make report_fatal_error respect its GenCrashDiag argument so it doesn't generate a backtrace
There are a few places where we use report_fatal_error when the input is broken.
Currently, this function always crashes LLVM with an abort signal, which
then triggers the backtrace printing code.
I think this is excessive, as wrong input shouldn't give a link to
LLVM's github issue URL and tell users to file a bug report.
We shouldn't print a stack trace either.

This patch changes report_fatal_error so it uses exit() rather than
abort() when its argument GenCrashDiag=false.

LLVM so far has only supported the MIPS-II and above architectures. MIPS-II is pretty close to MIPS-I, the major difference
being that "load" instructions always take one extra instruction slot to propogate to registers. This patch adds support for
MIPS-I by adding hazard handling for load delay slots, alongside MIPSR6 forbidden slots and FPU slots, inserting a NOP
instruction between a load and any instruction immediately following that reads the load's destination register. I also
included a simple regression test. Since no existing tests target MIPS-I, those all still pass.

I also tested by building a simple demo app with Clang and running it in an emulator.
