Currently lowering sets the extents of assumed-size array to "undef"
which was OK as long as the value was not expected to be read.
But when interfacing with the runtime and when passing assumed-size to
assumed-rank, this last extent may be read and must be -1 as specified
in the BIND(C) case in 18.5.3 point 5.
Set this value to -1, and update all the lowering code that was looking
for an undef defining op to identify assumed-size: much safer to
propagate and use semantic info here, the previous check actually did
not work if the array was used in an internal procedure (defining op not
visible anymore).
@clementval and @agozillon, I left assumed-size extent to zero in the
acc/omp bounds op as it was, please double check that is what you want
(I can imagine -1 may create troubles here, and 0 makes some sense as it
would lead to no data transfer).
This also allows removing special cases in UBOUND/LBOUND lowering.
Also disable allocation of cray pointee. This was never intended and
would now lead to crashes with the -1 value for assumed-size cray
pointee.
Outside of BIND(C), assumed length character scalar and explicit shape
are passed by address + an extra length argument (fir.boxchar in FIR).
The standard mandates that they be passed via CFI descriptor in BIND(C)
interface (fir.box in FIR). This patch fix the handling for this case.
Until now, only the address of the type descriptor was hold in
a PolymorphicValue. In some cases, the element size and the
type code are also needed when creating new polymorphic
descriptors from an element of a polymorphic entity.
This patch updates PolymorphicValue to carry the source
descriptor from which the element is extracted. The source
descriptor is then used when emboxing the element to a new
polymorphic descriptor.
This simplify the code done in D141274 and will be used
when creating polymorphic temporary as well.

In order to be passed as passed-object in the dynamic dispatch, the
polymorphic pointer entity are emboxed. In this process, the dynamic
type must be preserve and pass to fir.embox as the tdesc operand. This
patch introduce a new ExtendedValue that allow to carry over the
dynamic type when the value is unboxed.

This patch updates lowering to produce the correct fir.class types for
various polymorphic and unlimited polymoprhic entities cases. This is only the
lowering. Some TODOs have been added to the CodeGen part to avoid errors since
this part still need to be updated as well.
The fir.class<*> representation for unlimited polymorphic entities mentioned in
the document has been updated to fir.class<none> to avoid useless work in pretty
parse/printer.
This patch is part of the implementation of the poltymorphic
entities.

Follow up of https://reviews.llvm.org/D121488. Ensure lower bounds
are `1` when the related dimension extent is zero. Note that lower
bounds from descriptors are now guaranteed to fulfill this property
after the runtime/codegen patches.
Also fixes explicit shape array extent lowering when instantiating
variables to deal with negative extent cases (issue found while testing
LBOUND edge case). This notably caused allocation crashes when dealing
with automatic arrays with reversed bounds or negative size
specification expression. The standard specifies that the extent of such
arrays is zero. This change has some ripple effect in the current lit
tests.
Add move two helpers as part of this change:
- Add a helper to tell if a fir::ExtendedValue describes an assumed size
array (last dimension extent is unknown to the compiler, both at compile
time and runtime).
- Move and share getIntIfConstant from Character.cpp so that it can be
used elsewhere (NFC).
