[AMDGPU] Use correct number of bits needed for div/rem shrinking (#80622)
There was an error where dividend of type i64 and actual used number of
bits of 32 fell into path that assumes only 24 bits being used. Check
that AtLeast field is used correctly when using computeNumSignBits and
add necessary extend/trunc for 32 bits path.

Regolden and update testcases.

e0919b189b [CodeGen] Renumber slot indexes before register allocation (#66334)
RegAllocGreedy uses SlotIndexes::getApproxInstrDistance to approximate
the length of a live range for its heuristics. Renumbering all slot
indexes with the default instruction distance ensures that this estimate
will be as accurate as possible, and will not depend on the history of
how instructions have been added to and removed from SlotIndexes's maps.

This also means that enabling -early-live-intervals, which runs the
SlotIndexes analysis earlier, will not cause large amounts of churn due
to different register allocator decisions.

fd64a857ee [AMDGPU] Combine s_or_saveexec, s_xor instructions.
This patch merges a consecutive sequence of

s_or_saveexec s_o, s_i
s_xor exec, exec, s_o

into a single

s_andn2_saveexec s_o, s_i instruction.
This patch also cleans up the SIOptimizeExecMasking pass a bit.

3eb2281bc0 [AMDGPU] Aggressively fold immediates in SIFoldOperands
Previously SIFoldOperands::foldInstOperand would only fold a
non-inlinable immediate into a single user, so as not to increase code
size by adding the same 32-bit literal operand to many instructions.

This patch removes that restriction, so that a non-inlinable immediate
will be folded into any number of users. The rationale is:
- It reduces the number of registers used for holding constant values,
which might increase occupancy. (On the other hand, many of these
registers are SGPRs which no longer affect occupancy on GFX10+.)
- It reduces ALU stalls between the instruction that loads a constant
into a register, and the instruction that uses it.
- The above benefits are expected to outweigh any increase in code size.

d7e03df719 [AMDGPU] Implement widening multiplies with v_mad_i64_i32/v_mad_u64_u32
Select SelectionDAG ops smul_lohi/umul_lohi to
v_mad_i64_i32/v_mad_u64_u32 respectively, with an addend of 0.
v_mul_lo, v_mul_hi and v_mad_i64/u64 are all quarter-rate instructions
so it is better to use one instruction than two.

Further improvements are possible to make better use of the addend
operand, but this is already a strict improvement over what we have
now.

18f9351223 [AMDGPU] Do not generate ELF symbols for the local branch target labels
The compiler was generating symbols in the final code object for local
branch target labels. This bloats the code object, slows down the loader,
and is only used to simplify disassembly.

Use '--symbolize-operands' with llvm-objdump to improve readability of the
branch target operands in disassembly.

30b27ecfc2 [AMDGPU] Use new opcode for indexed vgpr reads
Introduce V_MOV_B32_indirect_read for indexed vgpr reads
(and rename the old V_MOV_B32_indirect to
V_MOV_B32_indirect_write) so they can be unambiguously
distinguished from regular V_MOV_B32_e32. Previously they
were distinguished by looking for extra implicit operands
but this is fragile because regular moves sometimes have
extra implicit operands too:
- either by accident, when instructions end up with
duplicate implicit operands (see e.g. D100939)
- or by design, when SIInstrInfo::copyPhysReg breaks a
multi-dword copy into individual subreg mov instructions
and adds implicit operands for the super-register.

The effect of this is that SIInstrInfo::isFoldableCopy can
be simplified and identifies more foldable copies. The test
diffs show that more immediate 0 values have been folded as
inline operands.

SIInstrInfo::isReallyTriviallyReMaterializable could
probably be simplified too but that is not part of this
patch.

a70bbb5f7a [AMDGPU] Simplify 64-bit division/remainder expansion
The old expansion open-coded a 64-bit addition in a strange way, by
adding the high parts *without* carry-in from the low part, and then
adding the carry back in later on. Fixing this saves a couple of
instructions and makes the code much easier to understand.

b642d01fa8 [AMDGPU] Improve killed check for vgpr optimization
The killed flag is not always set. E.g. when a variable is used in a
loop, it is never marked as killed, although it is unused in following
basic blocks. Also, we try to deprecate kill flags and not use them.

Check if the register is live in the endif block. If not, consider it
killed in the then and else blocks.

The vgpr-liverange tests have two new tests with loops
(pre-committed, so the diff is visible).
I also needed to change the subtarget to gfx10.1, otherwise calls
are not working.

208332de8a [AMDGPU] Add Optimize VGPR LiveRange Pass.
This pass aims to optimize VGPR live-range in a typical divergent if-else
control flow. For example:

def(a)
if(cond)
  use(a)
  ... // A
else
  use(a)

As AMDGPU access vgpr with respect to active-mask, we can mark `a` as
dead in region A. For details, please refer to the comments in
implementation file.

The pass is enabled by default, the frontend can disable it through
"-amdgpu-opt-vgpr-liverange=false".

f4bd01c191 [AMDGPU] Fix and simplify AMDGPUCodeGenPrepare::expandDivRem32
Fix the division/remainder algorithm by adding a second quotient
refinement step, which is required in some cases like
0xFFFFFFFFu / 0x11111111u (https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46212).

Also document, rewrite and simplify it by ensuring that we always have a
lower bound on inv(y), which simplifies the UNR step and the quotient
refinement steps.

43830790d7 [AMDGPU] Remove dubious logic in bidirectional list scheduler
Summary:
pickNodeBidirectional tried to compare the best top candidate and the
best bottom candidate by examining TopCand.Reason and BotCand.Reason.
This is unsound because, after calling pickNodeFromQueue, Cand.Reason
does not reflect the most important reason why Cand was chosen. Rather
it reflects the most recent reason why it beat some other potential
candidate, which could have been for some low priority tie breaker
reason.

I have seen this cause problems where TopCand is a good candidate, but
because TopCand.Reason is ORDER (which is very low priority) it is
repeatedly ignored in favour of a mediocre BotCand. This is not how
bidirectional scheduling is supposed to work.

To fix this I changed the code to always compare TopCand and BotCand
directly, like the generic implementation of pickNodeBidirectional does.
This removes some uncommented AMDGPU-specific logic; if this logic turns
out to be important then perhaps it could be moved into an override of
tryCandidate instead.

Graphics shader benchmarking on gfx10 shows a lot more positive than
negative effects from this change.
