[AMDGPU] Combine or remove redundant waitcnts at the end of each MBB (#87539)
Call generateWaitcnt unconditionally at the end of
SIInsertWaitcnts::insertWaitcntInBlock. Even if we don't need to
generate a new waitcnt instruction it has the effect of combining or
removing redundant waitcnts that were already present. Tests show
various small improvements in waitcnt placement.

[AMDGPU,test] Change llc -march= to -mtriple= (#75982)
Similar to 806761a7629df268c8aed49657aeccffa6bca449.

For IR files without a target triple, -mtriple= specifies the full
target triple while -march= merely sets the architecture part of the
default target triple, leaving a target triple which may not make sense,
e.g. amdgpu-apple-darwin.

Therefore, -march= is error-prone and not recommended for tests without
a target triple. The issue has been benign as we recognize
$unknown-apple-darwin as ELF instead of rejecting it outrightly.

This patch changes AMDGPU tests to not rely on the default
OS/environment components. Tests that need fixes are not changed:

f2c164c815 [AMDGPU] Do not wait for vscnt on function entry and return
SIInsertWaitcnts inserts waitcnt instructions to resolve data
dependencies. The GFX10+ vscnt (VMEM store count) counter is never used
in this way. It is only used to resolve memory dependencies, and that is
handled by SIMemoryLegalizer. Hence there is no need to conservatively
wait for vscnt to be 0 on function entry and before returns.

b32a5666a8 [AMDGPU] Unify uniform return and divergent unreachable blocks
This patch fixes a "failed to annotate CFG" error in
SIAnnotateControlFlow. The problem occurs when there are
divergent and uniform unreachable/return blocks in the same
region. In this case, AMDGPUUnifyDivergentExitNodes does not
create a unified block so the region contains multiple exits.

StructurizeCFG does not work properly when there are multiple
exits, so the neccessary CFG transformations do not occur along
divergent control flow. Subsequently, SIAnnotateControlFlow
processes the path to the divergent exit block, but may only
partially process blocks along a unform control flow path to
another exit block.

This patch fixes the bug by creating a single exit block when
there is a divergent exit block in the function.

This fixes an infinite loop when combining some vector types.
Also fixes zero initializing some undef values.

SimplifyDemandedVectorElts / SimplifyDemandedBits are not checking

that were later re-legalized back into zero vectors.

e780648a15 [AMDGPU] Unify unreachable intrinsics
si-annotate-control-flow does depth first traversal of BB's of
a function to insert amdgcn if intrinsics for conditional
branches so that isel can generate correct instructions later.

si-annotate-control-flow checks whether the successor BB for the 'else'
branch of a conditional branch has been visited. If it has been
visited, si-annotate-control-flow assumes the conditional
branch has been handled and will not try to insert if intrinsic
for it.

This assumption is not correct when the IR contains multiple
unreachable BB's. Then 'if' intrinscs are not inserted and incorrect
ISA are generated.

This patch fixes the issue by let amdgpu-unify-divergent-exit-nodes
unify unreachables even if they are uniformly reached. In this way
the IR will not contain multiple exits, and structurizer is able to
structurize the IR containing one unified exit.

d719f1c3cc AMDGPU: Add alloc priority to global ranges
The requested register class priorities weren't respected
globally. Not sure why this is a target option, and not just the
expected behavior (recently added in
1a6dc92be7d68611077f0fb0b723b361817c950c). This avoids an allocation
failure when many wide tuple spills are introduced. I think this is a
workaround since I would not expect the allocation priority to be
required, and only a performance hint. The allocator should be smarter
about when only a subregister needs to be spilled and restored.

This does regress a couple of degenerate store stress lit tests which
shouldn't be too important.

[AMDGPU][SimplifyCFG] Teach AMDGPUUnifyDivergentExitNodes to preserve {,Post}DomTree
This is a (last big?) part of the patch series to make SimplifyCFG
preserve DomTree. Currently, it still does not actually preserve it,
even thought it is pretty much fully updated to preserve it.

Once the default is flipped, a valid DomTree must be passed into
simplifyCFG, which means that whatever pass calls simplifyCFG,
should also be smart about DomTree's.

As far as i can see from `check-llvm` with default flipped,
this is the last LLVM test batch (other than bugpoint tests)
that needed fixes to not break with default flipped.

The changes here are boringly identical to the ones i did
over 42+ times/commits recently already,
so while AMDGPU is outside of my normal ecosystem,
i'm going to go for post-commit review here,
like in all the other 42+ changes.

Note that while the pass is taught to preserve {,Post}DomTree,
it still doesn't do that by default, because simplifycfg
still doesn't do that by default, and flipping default
in this pass will implicitly flip the default for simplifycfg.
That will happen, but not right now.

0f1df48925 AMDGPU/SIInsertSkips: Fix the determination of whether early-exit-after-kill is possible
Summary:
The old code made some incorrect assumptions about the order in which
basic blocks are laid out in a function. This could lead to incorrect
early-exits, especially when kills occurred inside of loops.

The new approach is to check whether the point where the conditional
kill occurs dominates all reachable code. If that is the case, there
cannot be any other threads in the wave that are waiting to rejoin
at a later point in the CFG, i.e. if exec=0 at that point, then all
threads really are dead and we can exit the wave.

Make some other minor cleanups to the pass while we're at it.

e53a9d96e6 Resubmit: [AMDGPU] Invert the handling of skip insertion.
The current implementation of skip insertion (SIInsertSkip) makes it a
mandatory pass required for correctness. Initially, the idea was to
have an optional pass. This patch inserts the s_cbranch_execz upfront
during SILowerControlFlow to skip over the sections of code when no
lanes are active. Later, SIRemoveShortExecBranches removes the skips
for short branches, unless there is a sideeffect and the skip branch is
really necessary.

This new pass will replace the handling of skip insertion in the
existing SIInsertSkip Pass.

v_cmp comparisons, combining the results with s_and_b64, s_or_b64 and

ensuring that bits for inactive lanes were clear.

There was already code for inserting an "s_and_b64 vcc, exec, vcc" to
clear bits for inactive lanes in the case that the branch is instruction
selected as s_cbranch_scc1 and is then changed to s_cbranch_vccnz in
SIFixSGPRCopies. I have added the same code into SILowerControlFlow for
the case that the branch is instruction selected as s_cbranch_vccnz.

This de-optimizes the code in some cases where the s_and is not needed,
because vcc is the result of a v_cmp, or multiple v_cmp instructions
combined by s_and/s_or. We should add a pass to re-optimize those cases.

6c7a8d0b5f [AMDGPU] Preserve inverted bit in SI_IF in presence of SI_KILL
In case if SI_KILL is in between of the SI_IF and SI_END_CF we need
to preserve the bits actually flipped by if rather then restoring
the original mask.

3197eb6981 [AMDGPU] Optimize SI_IF lowering for simple if regions
Currently SI_IF results in a s_and_saveexec_b64 followed by s_xor_b64.
The xor is used to extract only the changed bits. In case of a simple
if region where the only use of that value is in the SI_END_CF to
restore the old exec mask, we can omit the xor and perform an or of
the exec mask with the original exec value saved by the
s_and_saveexec_b64.

efe56fed12 Revert "CodeGen: Allow small copyable blocks to "break" the CFG."
This reverts commit ada6595a526d71df04988eb0a4b4fe84df398ded.

This needs a simple probability check because there are some cases where it is
not profitable.
