[lldb] Change the two remaining SInt64 settings in Target to uint (#105460)
TargetProperties.td had a few settings listed as signed integral values,
but the Target.cpp methods reading those values were reading them as
unsigned. e.g. target.max-memory-read-size, some accesses of
target.max-children-count, still today, previously
target.max-string-summary-length.

After Jonas' change to use templates to read these values in
https://reviews.llvm.org/D149774, when the code tried to fetch these
values, we'd eventually end up calling OptionValue::GetAsUInt64 which
checks that the value is actually a UInt64 before returning it; finding
that it was an SInt64, it would drop the user setting and return the
default value. This manifested as a bug that target.max-memory-read-size
is never used for memory read.

target.max-children-count is less straightforward, where one read of
that setting was fetching it as an int64_t, the other as a uint64_t.

I suspect all of these settings were originally marked as SInt64 so a
user could do -1 for "infinite", getting it static_cast to a UINT64_MAX
value along the way. I can't find any documentation for this behavior,
but it seems like something Greg would have done. We've partially lost
that behavior already via
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/72233 for
target.max-string-summary-length, and this further removes it.

We're still fetching UInt64's and returning them as uint32_t's but I'm
not overly pressed about someone setting a count/size limit over 4GB.

I added a simple API test for the memory read setting limit.

[lldb] Pick the correct architecutre when target and core file disagree (#105576)
In f9f3316, Adrian fixed an issue where LLDB wouldn't update the
target's architecture when the process reported a different triple that
only differed in its sub-architecture.

This unintentionally regressed core file debugging when the core file
reports the base architecture (e.g. armv7) while the main binary knows
the correct CPU subtype (e.g. armv7em). After the aforementioned change,
we update the target architecture from armv7em to armv7. Fix the issue
by trusting the target architecture over the ProcessMachCore process.

[LLDB][Minidump] Fix ProcessMinidump::GetMemoryRegions to include 64b regions when /proc/pid maps are missing. (#101086)
This PR is in response to a bug my coworker @mbucko discovered where on
MacOS Minidumps were being created where the 64b memory regions were
readable, but were not being listed in
`SBProcess.GetMemoryRegionList()`. This went unnoticed in #95312 due to
all the linux testing including /proc/pid maps. On MacOS generated dumps
(or any dump without access to /proc/pid) we would fail to properly map
Memory Regions due to there being two independent methods for 32b and
64b mapping.

In this PR I addressed this minor bug and merged the methods, but in
order to add test coverage required additions to `obj2yaml` and
`yaml2obj` which make up the bulk of this patch.

Lastly, there are some non-required changes such as the addition of the
`Memory64ListHeader` type, to make writing/reading the header section of
the Memory64List easier.

[lldb] Extend frame recognizers to hide frames from backtraces (#104523)
Compilers and language runtimes often use helper functions that are
fundamentally uninteresting when debugging anything but the
compiler/runtime itself. This patch introduces a user-extensible
mechanism that allows for these frames to be hidden from backtraces and
automatically skipped over when navigating the stack with `up` and
`down`.

This does not affect the numbering of frames, so `f <N>` will still
provide access to the hidden frames. The `bt` output will also print a
hint that frames have been hidden.

My primary motivation for this feature is to hide thunks in the Swift
programming language, but I'm including an example recognizer for
`std::function::operator()` that I wished for myself many times while
debugging LLDB.

rdar://126629381

Example output. (Yes, my proof-of-concept recognizer could hide even
more frames if we had a method that returned the function name without
the return type or I used something that isn't based off regex, but it's
really only meant as an example).

[lldb] Fix windows debug build after 9d07f43 (#104896)
This patch tries to fix an issue with the windows debug builds where the
PDB file for python scripted interfaces cannot be opened since its path
length exceed the windows `MAX_PATH` limit:

https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/101672#issuecomment-2289481324

This patch addresses the issue by building all the interfaces as a
single library plugin that initiliazes each component as part of its
`Initialize` method, instead of building each interface as its own
library plugin.

This keeps the build artifact path length smaller while respecting the
naming convention and without making any exception in the build system.

Fixes #104895.

[lldb][ClangExpressionParser] Implement ExternalSemaSource::ReadUndefinedButUsed (#104817)
While parsing an expression, Clang tries to diagnose usage of decls
(with possibly non-external linkage) for which it hasn't been provided
with a definition. This is the case, e.g., for functions with parameters
that live in an anonymous namespace (those will have `UniqueExternal`
linkage, this is computed [here in
computeTypeLinkageInfo](ea8bb4d633/clang/lib/AST/Type.cpp (L4647-L4653))).
Before diagnosing such situations, Clang calls
`ExternalSemaSource::ReadUndefinedButUsed`. The intended use of this API
is to extend the set of "used but not defined" decls with additional
ones that the external source knows about. However, in LLDB's case, we
never provide `FunctionDecl`s with a definition, and instead rely on the
expression parser to resolve those symbols by linkage name. Thus, to
avoid the Clang parser from erroring out in these situations, this patch
implements `ReadUndefinedButUsed` which just removes the "undefined"
non-external `FunctionDecl`s that Clang found.

We also had to add an `ExternalSemaSource` to the `clang::Sema` instance
LLDB creates. We previously didn't have any source on `Sema`. Because we
add the `ExternalASTSourceWrapper` here, that means we'd also
technically be adding the `ClangExpressionDeclMap` as an
`ExternalASTSource` to `Sema`, which is fine because `Sema` will only be
calling into the `ExternalSemaSource` APIs (though nothing currently
strictly enforces this, which is a bit worrying).

Note, the decision for whether to put a function into `UndefinedButUsed`
is done in
[Sema::MarkFunctionReferenced](ea8bb4d633/clang/lib/Sema/SemaExpr.cpp (L18083-L18087)).
The `UniqueExternal` linkage computation is done in
[getLVForNamespaceScopeDecl](ea8bb4d633/clang/lib/AST/Decl.cpp (L821-L833)).

[lldb][ClangExpressionParser] Don't leak memory when multiplexing ExternalASTSources (#104799)
When we use `SemaSourceWithPriorities` as the `ASTContext`s
ExternalASTSource, we allocate a `ClangASTSourceProxy` (via
`CreateProxy`) and two `ExternalASTSourceWrapper`. Then we push these
sources into a vector in `SemaSourceWithPriorities`. The allocated
`SemaSourceWithPriorities` itself will get properly deallocated because
the `ASTContext` wraps it in an `IntrusiveRefCntPtr`. But the three
sources we allocated earlier will never get released.

This patch fixes this by mimicking what `MultiplexExternalSemaSource`
does (which is what `SemaSourceWithPriorities` is based on anyway).
I.e., when `SemaSourceWithPriorities` gets constructed, it increments
the use count of its sources. And on destruction it decrements them.

Similarly, to make sure we dealloacted the `ClangASTProxy` properly, the
`ExternalASTSourceWrapper` now assumes shared ownership of the
underlying source.

Fix single thread stepping timeout race condition (#104195)
This PR fixes a potential race condition in
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/90930.

This race can happen because the original code set `m_info->m_isAlive =
true` **after** the timer thread is created. So if there is a context
switch happens and timer thread checks `m_info->m_isAlive` before main
thread got a chance to run `m_info->m_isAlive = true`, the timer thread
may treat `ThreadPlanSingleThreadTimeout` as not alive and simply exit
resulting in async interrupt never being sent to resume all threads
(deadlock).

The PR fixes the race by initializing all states **before** worker timer
thread creates.

The only change vs. the first version of the patch is that I've made

The original commit message was:

I ran into this when LTO completely emptied two compile units, so they
ended up with the same hash (see #100375). Although, ideally, the
compiler would try to ensure we don't end up with a hash collision even
in this case, guaranteeing their absence is practically impossible. This
patch ensures this situation does not bring down lldb.

[LLDB][OSX] Add a fallback support exe directory (#103458)

This shouldn't break anything, but instead should make it a bit easier
for LLDB to work with different build systems and folder structures.

[lldb] Claim to support swbreak and hwbreak packets when debugging a gdbremote (#102873)
This fixes https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/56125 and
https://github.com/vadimcn/codelldb/issues/666, as well as the
downstream issue in our binary ninja debugger:
https://github.com/Vector35/debugger/issues/535

Basically, lldb does not claim to support the `swbreak` packet so the
gdbserver would not use it. As a result, the gdbserver always sends the
unmodified program counter value which, on systems like x86, causes the
program counter to be off-by-one (or otherwise wrong). For reference,
the lldb-server always sends the modified program counter value so it
works perfectly with lldb.

https://sourceware.org/gdb/current/onlinedocs/gdb.html/Stop-Reply-Packets.html#swbreak-stop-reason

No new code is added to add support `swbreak`, since the way lldb works
already expects the remote to have adjusted the program counter. The
change just lets the gdbserver know that lldb supports it, so that it
will send the adjusted program counter.

To test this PR, you can use lldb to connect to a gdbserver running on
e.g., Ubuntu 22.04, and see the program counter is off-by-one without
the patch. With the patch, things work as expected

[lldb/DWARF] Search fallback to the manual index in GetFullyQualified… (#102123)
…Type

This is needed to ensure we find a type if its definition is in a CU
that wasn't indexed. This can happen if the definition is in some
precompiled code (e.g. the c++ standard library) which was built with
different flags than the rest of the binary.

[lldb] Tolerate multiple compile units with the same DWO ID (#100577)
I ran into this when LTO completely emptied two compile units, so they
ended up with the same hash (see #100375). Although, ideally, the
compiler would try to ensure we don't end up with a hash collision even
in this case, guaranteeing their absence is practically impossible. This
patch ensures this situation does not bring down lldb.

[lldb] Move definition of SBSaveCoreOptions dtor out of header (#102539)
This class is technically not usable in its current state. When you use
it in a simple C++ project, your compiler will complain about an
incomplete definition of SaveCoreOptions. Normally this isn't a problem,
other classes in the SBAPI do this. The difference is that
SBSaveCoreOptions has a default destructor in the header, so the
compiler will attempt to generate the code for the destructor with an
incomplete definition of the impl type.

All methods for every class, including constructors and destructors,
must have a separate implementation not in a header.

Reland "[lldb][ClangExpressionParser] Set BuiltinHeadersInSystemModules depending on SDK version (#102309)" (#102497)
Depends on https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/102488

This reverts commit
cf56e265e4.

The original change was reverted because it was causing linker failures
in the unit-tests:
```
Undefined symbols for architecture arm64:
  "lldb_private::PlatformDarwin::GetSDKPathFromDebugInfo(lldb_private::Module&)",
referenced from:
      lldb_private::ClangExpressionParser::ClangExpressionParser(lldb_private::ExecutionContextScope*,
lldb_private::Expression&, bool,
std::__1::vector<std::__1::basic_string<char,
std::__1::char_traits<char>, std::__1::allocator<char>>,
std::__1::allocator<std::__1::basic_string<char,
std::__1::basic_string<char, std::__1::char_traits<char>,
ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture arm64
c++: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see
invocation)
```

The relanded version differs only in the fact that we now use the
generic `Platform` abstraction to get to `GetSDKPathFromDebugInfo`.

[lldb/Interpreter] Fix ambiguous partial command resolution (#101934)
This patch is a follow-up to #97263 that fix ambigous abbreviated
command resolution.

When multiple commands are resolved, instead of failing to pick a
command to
run, this patch changes to resolution logic to check if there is a
single
alias match and if so, it will run the alias instead of the other
matches.

This has as a side-effect that we don't need to make aliases for every
substring of aliases to support abbrivated alias resolution.

[LLDB] Impove ObjectFileELF's .dynamic parsing and usage. (#101237)
This patch improves the ability of a ObjectFileELF instance to read the .dynamic section. It adds the ability to read the .dynamic section from the PT_DYNAMIC program header which is useful for ELF files that have no section headers and for ELF files that are read from memory. It cleans up the usage of the .dynamic entries so that ObjectFileELF::ParseDynamicSymbols() is the only code that parses .dynamic entries, teaches that function the read and store the string values for each .dynamic entry. We now dump the .dynamic entries in the output of "image dump objfile". It also cleans up the code that gets the dynamic string table so that it can grab it from the DT_STRTAB and DT_STRSZ .dynamic entries for when we have a ELF file with no section headers or we are reading it from memory.

[lldb] Fix crash when adding members to an "incomplete" type (#102116)
This fixes a regression caused by delayed type definition searching
(#96755 and friends): If we end up adding a member (e.g. a typedef) to a
type that we've already attempted to complete (and failed), the
resulting AST would end up inconsistent (we would start to "forcibly"
complete it, but never finish it), and importing it into an expression
AST would crash.

This patch fixes this by detecting the situation and finishing the
definition as well.

[lldb][ClangExpressionParser] Set BuiltinHeadersInSystemModules depending on SDK version (#102309)
This patch changes the way we initialize `BuiltinHeadersInSystemModules`
which is one of the flags controlling Clang's behaviour when the Darwin
module is split into more fine-grained modules. The
ClangExpressionParser currently unconditionally sets
`-fbuiltin-headers-in-system-modules` when evaluating expressions with
the `target.import-std-module` setting. This flag should, however, be
set depending on the SDK version (which is what the Clang Darwin
toolchain does).

Unfortunately, the compiler instance that we create with
`ClangExpressionParser` never consults the Clang driver, and thus
doesn't correctly infer `BuiltinHeadersInSystemModules`. Note, this
isn't an issue with the `CompilerInstance` that the
`ClangModulesDeclVendor` creates because it uses the `createInovcation`
API, which calls into `Darwin::addClangTargetOptions`.

This patch mimicks how `sdkSupportsBuiltinModules` is used in
`Darwin::addClangTargetOptions`.

This ensures that the `import-std-module` API tests run cleanly
regardless of SDK version.

The plan is to eventually make the `CompilerInstance` construction in
`ClangExpressionParser` go through the driver, so we can avoid
duplicating the logic in LLDB. But we aren't there yet.

**Implementation**
* We look for the `SDKSettings.json` in the sysroot directory that we
found in DWARF (via `DW_AT_LLVM_sysroot`)
* Then parse this file and extract the SDK version number out of it
* Then mimick `sdkSupportsBuiltinModules` from `Toolchains/Darwin.cpp`
and set `BuiltinHeadersInSystemModules` based on it

[lldb][TypeSystem] Pass ClangASTMetadata by-value when creating record/objc types (#102296)
This is a follow-up to https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/102161
where we changed the `GetMetadata`/`SetMetadata` APIs to pass
`ClangASTMetadata` by-value, instead of `ClangASTMetadata *`, which
wasn't a very friendly API.

This patch continues from there and changes
`CreateRecordType`/`CreateObjCClass` to take the metadata by-value as
well.

As a drive-by change, I also changed `DelayedAddObjCClassProperty` to
store the metadata by-value, instead of in a `std::unique_ptr`, which
AFAICT, was done solely due to the TypeSystemClang APIs taking the
metadata by pointer. This meant we could also get rid of the
user-provided copy constructors.

Fix ASAN failure in TestSingleThreadStepTimeout.py (#102208)
This PR fixes the ASAN failure in
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/90930.

The original PR made the assumption that parent
`ThreadPlanStepOverRange`'s lifetime will always be longer than
`ThreadPlanSingleThreadTimeout` leaf plan so it passes the
`m_timeout_info` as reference to it.
From the ASAN failure, it seems that this assumption may not be true
(likely the thread stack is holding a strong reference to the leaf
plan).

This PR fixes this lifetime issue by using shared pointer instead of
passing by reference.
