[SPIR-V] Fix block sorting with irreducible CFG (#116996)
Block sorting was assuming reducible CFG. Meaning we always had a best
node to continue with. Irreducible CFG makes breaks this assumption, so
the algorithm looped indefinitely because no node was a valid candidate.

Fixes #116692

[SPIR-V] Support optimization of branching with analyzeBranch/removeBranch/insertBranch functions (#110653)
This PR fixes implementation of `SPIRVInstrInfo::analyzeBranch()` and
adds implementations of `SPIRVInstrInfo::removeBranch()` and
`SPIRVInstrInfo::insertBranch()` to support Branch Folding and If
Conversion optimization.

The attached test case failed before this PR due to report_fatal_error()
firing on missing implementation of `SPIRVInstrInfo::removeBranch()`.

The new test case is not able to pass spirv-val check at the moment due
to the issue described in
https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/110652 , this is not related
to this PR.

This PR also updates instructions definition in tablegen to set
isBranch=1 for relevant instructions.

[SPIR-V] Add SPIR-V structurizer (#107408)
This commit adds an initial SPIR-V structurizer.
It leverages the previously merged passes, and the convergence region
analysis to determine the correct merge and continue blocks for SPIR-V.

The first part does a branch cleanup (simplifying switches, and
legalizing them), then merge instructions are added to cycles,
convergent and later divergent blocks.
Then comes the important part: splitting critical edges, and making sure
the divergent construct boundaries don't cross.

- we split blocks with multiple headers into 2 blocks.
- we split blocks that are a merge blocks for 2 or more constructs:
SPIR-V spec disallow a merge block to be shared by 2
loop/switch/condition construct.
- we split merge & continue blocks: SPIR-V spec disallow a basic block
to be both a continue block, and a merge block.
- we remove superfluous headers: when a header doesn't bring more info
than the parent on the divergence state, it must be removed.

This PR leverages the merged SPIR-V simulator for testing, as long as
spirv-val. For now, most DXC structurization tests are passing. The
unsupported ones are either caused by unsupported features like switches
on boolean types, or switches in region exits, because the MergeExit
pass doesn't support those yet (there is a FIXME).

This PR is quite large, and the addition not trivial, so I tried to keep
it simple. E.G: as soon as the CFG changes, I recompute the dominator
trees and other structures instead of updating them.

[SPIR-V] Improve correctness of emitted MIR between passes for branching instructions (#106966)
This PR improves correctness of emitted MIR between passes for branching
instructions and thus increase number of passing tests when expensive
checks are on. Specifically, we address here such issues with machine
verifier as:
* fix switch generation: generate correct successors and undo the
"address taken" status to reflect that a successor doesn't actually
correspond to an IR-level basic block;
* fix incorrect definition of OpBranch and OpBranchConditional in
TableGen (SPIRVInstrInfo.td) to set isBarrier status properly and set a
correct type of virtual registers;
* fix a case when Phi refers to a type definition that goes after the
Phi instruction, so that the virtual register definition of the type
doesn't dominate all uses.

This PR decrease number of failing tests under expensive checks from 56
to 50.

[SPIR-V] Sort basic blocks to match the SPIR-V spec (#102929)
The SPIR-V spec required basic blocks to respect some kind of ordering
(A block dominating another cannot be after in the binary layout).

[SPIR-V] Ensure that we don't have a dangling BlockAddress constants after internal intrinsic 'spv_switch' is processed (#92390)
After internal intrinsic 'spv_switch' is processed we need to delete
G_BLOCK_ADDR instructions that were generated to keep track of the
corresponding basic blocks. If we just delete G_BLOCK_ADDR instructions
with BlockAddress operands, this leaves their BasicBlock counterparts in
a "address taken" status. This would make AsmPrinter to generate a
series of unneeded labels of a `"Address of block that was removed by
CodeGen"` kind. This PR is to ensure that we don't have a dangling
BlockAddress constants by zapping the BlockAddress nodes, and only after
that proceed with erasing G_BLOCK_ADDR instructions.

[SPIR-V] Re-implement switch and improve validation of forward calls (#87823)
This PR fixes issue https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/87763
and preserves valid CFG in cases when previous scheme failed to generate
valid code for a switch statement. The PR hardens one existing test case
and adds one more test case as a validation of a new switch generation.
Tests are passing spirv-val now.

This PR also improves validation of forward calls.

8bfb2b6d77 [SPIR-V] Remove switch G_ICMP+G_BRCOND+G_BR before ISel
IRTranslator lowers switches to [G_SUB] + G_ICMP + G_BRCOND + G_BR
sequences. Since values and destination MBBs are included in the
spv_switch intrinsics, the sequences are not needed for ISel.

Before this commit, the information decoded by these sequences were
added to spv_switch intrinsics in SPIRVPreLegalizer and the sequences
were kept until SPIRVModuleAnalysis where they were marked skipped for
emission.

After this commit, the [G_SUB] + G_ICMP + G_BRCOND + G_BR sequences
and MBBs containing only these MIs are erased in SPIRVPreLegalizer.

b8e1544b9d [SPIRV] add SPIRVPrepareFunctions pass and update other passes
The patch adds SPIRVPrepareFunctions pass, which modifies function
signatures containing aggregate arguments and/or return values before
IR translation. Information about the original signatures is stored in
metadata. It is used during call lowering to restore correct SPIR-V types
of function arguments and return values. This pass also substitutes some
llvm intrinsic calls to function calls, generating the necessary functions
in the module, as the SPIRV translator does.

The patch also includes changes in other modules, fixing errors and
enabling many SPIR-V features that were omitted earlier. And 15 LIT tests
are also added to demonstrate the new functionality.

0098f2aebb [SPIRV] Add SPIR-V specific intrinsics, two passes and tests
The patch adds SPIR-V specific intrinsics required to keep information
critical to SPIR-V consistency (types, constants, etc.) during translation
from IR to MIR.

Two related passes (SPIRVEmitIntrinsics and SPIRVPreLegalizer) and several
LIT tests (passed with this change) have also been added.

It also fixes the issue with opaque pointers in SPIRVGlobalRegistry.cpp
and the mismatch of the data layout between the SPIR-V backend and clang
(Issue #55122).
