Debugify is extremely useful as a testing and debugging tool, and a good
number of LLVM-IR transform tests use it. We need it to support "new"
non-instruction debug-info to get test coverage, but it's not important
enough to completely convert right now (and it'd be a large
undertaking). Thus: convert to/from dbg.value/DPValue mode on entry and
exit of the pass, which gives us the functionality without any further
work. The cost is compile-time, but again this is only happening during
tests.
Tested by: the large set of debugify tests enabled here. Note the
InstCombine test (cast-mul-select.ll) that hasn't been fully enabled:
this is because there's a debug-info sinking piece of code there that
hasn't been instrumented.
And that exposes that a number of tests don't *actually* manage to
maintain DomTree validity, which is inline with my observations.
Once again, SimlifyCFG pass currently does not require/preserve DomTree
by default, so this is effectively NFC.
... so just ensure that we pass DomTreeUpdater it into it.
Fixes DomTree preservation for a large number of tests,
all of which are marked as such so that they do not regress.
As it's causing some bot failures (and per request from kbarton).
This reverts commit r358543/ab70da07286e618016e78247e4a24fcb84077fda.

These now verify that a given instruction has a specific source
location, rather than any old location. We want to make sure we
propagate the correct locations from one instruction to another.

Fixes bug 38023: https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38023
The SimplifyCFG pass will perform jump threading in some cases where
doing so is trivial and would simplify the CFG. When folding a series
of blocks with redundant conditional branches into an unconditional "critical
edge" block, it does not keep the debug location associated with the previous
conditional branch.
This patch fixes the bug described by copying the debug info from the
old conditional branch to the new unconditional branch instruction, and
adds a regression test for the SimplifyCFG pass that covers this case.
