180cc74de9 [AArch64] Update SME load/store intrinsics to work on opaque pointers.
These intrinsics should be able to use opaque pointers, because the
load/store type is already encoded in their names and return/operand type.

5548e807b5 [IR] Remove support for extractvalue constant expression
This removes the extractvalue constant expression, as part of
https://discourse.llvm.org/t/rfc-remove-most-constant-expressions/63179.
extractvalue is already not supported in bitcode, so we do not need
to worry about bitcode auto-upgrade.

Uses of ConstantExpr::getExtractValue() should be replaced with
IRBuilder::CreateExtractValue() (if the fact that the result is
constant is not important) or ConstantFoldExtractValueInstruction()
(if it is). Though for this particular case, it is also possible
and usually preferable to use getAggregateElement() instead.

The C API function LLVMConstExtractValue() is removed, as the
underlying constant expression no longer exists. Instead,
LLVMBuildExtractValue() should be used (which will constant fold
or create an instruction). Depending on the use-case,
LLVMGetAggregateElement() may also be used instead.

Offsets in the range [-4095,-2049] or [2048, 4094] are split into
two ADDIs. One of the ADDIs will be folded into the load/store
immediate through an post-isel peephole.

6678f8e505 [ubsan] Using metadata instead of prologue data for function sanitizer
Information in the function `Prologue Data` is intentionally opaque.
When a function with `Prologue Data` is duplicated. The self (global
value) references inside `Prologue Data` is still pointing to the
original function. This may cause errors like `fatal error: error in backend: Cannot represent a difference across sections`.

This patch detaches the information from function `Prologue Data`
and attaches it to a function metadata node.

This and D116130 fix https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/issues/49689.

becbbb7e3c Round up zero-sized symbols to 1 byte in .debug_aranges (without breaking other logic).
This commit modifies the AsmPrinter to avoid emitting any zero-sized symbols to
the .debug_aranges table, by rounding their size up to 1. Entries with zero
length violate the DWARF 5 spec, which states:

> Each descriptor is a triple consisting of a segment selector, the beginning
> address within that segment of a range of text or data covered by some entry
> owned by the corresponding compilation unit, followed by the non-zero length
> of that range.

In practice, these zero-sized entries produce annoying warnings in lld and
cause GNU binutils to truncate the table when parsing it.

Other parts of LLVM, such as DWARFDebugARanges in the DebugInfo module
(specifically the appendRange method), already avoid emitting zero-sized
symbols to .debug_aranges, but not comprehensively in the AsmPrinter. In fact,
the AsmPrinter does try to avoid emitting such zero-sized symbols when labels
aren't involved, but doesn't when the symbol to emitted is a difference of two
labels; this patch extends that logic to handle the case in which the symbol is
defined via labels.

Furthermore, this patch fixes a bug in which `available_externally` symbols
would cause unpredictable values to be emitted into the `.debug_aranges` table
under certain circumstances. In practice I don't believe that this caused
issues up until now, but the root cause of this bug--an invalid DenseMap
lookup--triggered failures in Chromium when combined with an earlier version of
this patch. Therefore, this patch fixes that bug too.

This is a revised version of diff D126257, which was reverted due to breaking
tests. The now-reverted version of this patch didn't distinguish between
symbols that didn't have their size reported to the DwarfDebug handler and
those that had their size reported to be zero. This new version of the patch
instead restricts the special handling only to the symbols whose size is
definitively known to be zero.

1466d65d9b [SPARC] Don't do leaf optimization on procedures with inline assembly
On SPARC, leaf function optimization omits the register window sliding (and the associated register name changes). This might result in miscompilation of procedures containing inline assembly, as some of the register constraints used may interfere with the register usage of optimized functions, so we disable leaf procedure optimization on those procedures to prevent it from happening.

This is a continuation of patch D102342 by @LemonBoy, the original comment is reproduced below:

> Leaf functions allow the compiler to omit the setup and teardown of a frame pointer, therefore avoiding the exchange of the in/out register. According to the SPARC architecture manual every reference to %i0-%i5 should be replaced with %o0-o5, if the target register is already in use a further remapping step to %g1-%g7 is required to free the output register.

70a5c52534 [ARM][Thumb] Command-line option to ensure AAPCS compliant Frame Records
Currently the a AAPCS compliant frame record is not always created for
functions when it should. Although a consistent frame record might not
be required in some cases, there are still scenarios where applications
may want to make use of the call hierarchy made available trough it.

In order to enable the use of AAPCS compliant frame records whilst keep
backwards compatibility, this patch introduces a new command-line option
(`-mframe-chain=[none|aapcs|aapcs+leaf]`) for Aarch32 and Thumb backends.
The option allows users to explicitly select when to use it, and is also
useful to ensure the extra overhead introduced by the frame records is
only introduced when necessary, in particular for Thumb targets.

69ae441e4c ARM: don't try to load function pointer before long call.
Deciding to load an arbitrary global based on whether the entire module is
being built for long calls is pretty clearly spurious, and in fact the existing
indirect logic is sufficient.

When a function does a dynamic stack allocation, the function's stack
size (in the stack map) is reported as UINT64_MAX.

217e85761c [ArgPromotion] Remove legacy PM support

complications in D125485. As the legacy pass manager for middle-end
optimizations is unsupported, drop ArgPromotion from the legacy

5650688e72 [AVR] Fix expanding MOVW for overlapping registers
When expanding a MOVW (16-bit copy) to two MOVs (8-bit copy), the
lower byte always comes first. This is incorrect for corner cases like
'$r24r23 -> $r25r24', in which the higher byte copy should come first.

78a31bb969 [RISCV] Change how we isel (add X, [-4096, -2049]) or (add X, [2048,4095]).
We currently split the immediate almost equally between two addis.
If the immediate is odd, it won't be split exactly equal.

This patch instead gives one addi an immediate of 2047 or -2048 and the
other getsthe remainder. If the original immediate is near -2049 or 2048,
this might allow the use of c.addi for the addi that receives the
smaller immediate.

03c65c0d32 [AArch64] Convert vector add(ext, ext) into ext(add(ext, ext))
Given a vector add or sub from extends that needs more that one 'step'
(i.e i8 to i32 or i16 to i64), we can transform the sequence to
sext(add(ext, ext)), to allow the add(ext, ext) to become a single uaddl
and a larger extend, producing less instructions in total.

c579ab53bd [RISCV] Move vfma_vl+fneg_vl matching to DAG combine.
This patch adds 3 new _VL RISCVISD opcodes to represent VFMA_VL with
different portions negated. It also adds a DAG combine to peek
through FNEG_VL to create these new opcodes.

This is modeled after similar code from X86.

This makes the isel patterns more regular and reduces the size of
the isel table by ~37K.

The test changes look like regressions, but they point to a bug that
was already there. We aren't able to commute a masked FMA instruction
to improve register allocation because we always use a mask undisturbed
policy. Prior to this patch we matched two multiply operands in a
different order and hid this issue for these test cases, but a different
test still could have encountered it.

1cc9792281 [RISCV] Fix a crash in InsertVSETVLI where we hadn't properly guarded for a SEWLMULRatioOnly abstract state
A forward abstract state can be in the special SEWLMULRatioOnly state which means we're not allowed to inspect its fields.  The scalar to vector move case was mising a guard, and we'd crash on an assert.  Test cases included.

8b10ffabae [RISCV] Disable <vscale x 1 x *> types with Zve32x or Zve32f.
According to the vector spec, mf8 is not supported for i8 if ELEN
is 32. Similarily mf4 is not suported for i16/f16 or mf2 for i32/f32.

Since RVVBitsPerBlock is 64 and LMUL is calculated as
((MinNumElements * ElementSize) / RVVBitsPerBlock) this means we
need to disable any type with MinNumElements==1.

For generic IR, these types will now be widened in type legalization.
For RVV intrinsics, we'll probably hit a fatal error somewhere. I plan
to work on disabling the intrinsics in the riscv_vector.h header.

This adds the macrofusion plumbing and support fusing LUI+ADDI(W).

This is similar to D73643, but handles a different case. Other cases
can be added in the future.

79e77a9f39 [AMDGPU] Flush the vmcnt counter in loop preheaders when necessary
waitcnt vmcnt instructions are currently generated in loop bodies before using
values loaded outside of the loop. In some cases, it is better to flush the
vmcnt counter in a loop preheader before entering the loop body. This patch
detects these cases and generates waitcnt instructions to flush the counter.

This is an improvement to LoongArch codegen. In D127206 we combined
((x >> shamt) & shifted_mask) to bstrpick and here we do a similar
combination when certain conditions are met.
