Use nonstatic member instead. This requires explicit conversions, but
many will go away as we continue converting unsigned to Register.

In a few places where it was simple, I changed unsigned to Register.

[SDAG] Use BatchAAResults for querying alias analysis (AA) results (#123934)
Once we get to SelectionDAG the IR should not be changing anymore, so we
can use BatchAAResults rather than AAResults to cache AA queries.

This should be a NFC change for targets that enable AA during codegen
(such as AArch64), but also give a nice compile-time improvement in some
cases. See:

[aarch64][win] Update Called Globals info when updating Call Site info (#122762)
Fixes the "use after poison" issue introduced by #121516 (see
<https://github.com/llvm/llvm-project/pull/121516#issuecomment-2585912395>).

The root cause of this issue is that #121516 introduced "Called Global"
information for call instructions modeling how "Call Site" info is
stored in the machine function, HOWEVER it didn't copy the
copy/move/erase operations for call site information.

The fix is to rename and update the existing copy/move/erase functions
so they also take care of Called Global info.

[aarch64][win] Add support for import call optimization (equivalent to MSVC /d2ImportCallOptimization) (#121516)
This change implements import call optimization for AArch64 Windows
(equivalent to the undocumented MSVC `/d2ImportCallOptimization` flag).

Import call optimization adds additional data to the binary which can be
used by the Windows kernel loader to rewrite indirect calls to imported
functions as direct calls. It uses the same [Dynamic Value Relocation
Table mechanism that was leveraged on x64 to implement
`/d2GuardRetpoline`](https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/windowsosplatform/mitigating-spectre-variant-2-with-retpoline-on-windows/295618).

The change to the obj file is to add a new `.impcall` section with the
following layout:
```cpp
  // Per section that contains calls to imported functions:
  //  uint32_t SectionSize: Size in bytes for information in this section.
  //  uint32_t Section Number
  //  Per call to imported function in section:
  //    uint32_t Kind: the kind of imported function.
  //    uint32_t BranchOffset: the offset of the branch instruction in its
  //                            parent section.
  //    uint32_t TargetSymbolId: the symbol id of the called function.
```

NOTE: If the import call optimization feature is enabled, then the
`.impcall` section must be emitted, even if there are no calls to
imported functions.

The implementation is split across a few parts of LLVM:
* During AArch64 instruction selection, the `GlobalValue` for each call
to a global is recorded into the Extra Information for that node.
* During lowering to machine instructions, the called global value for
each call is noted in its containing `MachineFunction`.
* During AArch64 asm printing, if the import call optimization feature
is enabled:
- A (new) `.impcall` directive is emitted for each call to an imported
function.
- The `.impcall` section is emitted with its magic header (but is not
filled in).
* During COFF object writing, the `.impcall` section is filled in based
on each `.impcall` directive that were encountered.

The `.impcall` section can only be filled in when we are writing the
COFF object as it requires the actual section numbers, which are only
assigned at that point (i.e., they don't exist during asm printing).

I had tried to avoid using the Extra Information during instruction
selection and instead implement this either purely during asm printing
or in a `MachineFunctionPass` (as suggested in [on the
forums](https://discourse.llvm.org/t/design-gathering-locations-of-instructions-to-emit-into-a-section/83729/3))
but this was not possible due to how loading and calling an imported
function works on AArch64. Specifically, they are emitted as `ADRP` +
`LDR` (to load the symbol) then a `BR` (to do the call), so at the point
when we have machine instructions, we would have to work backwards
through the instructions to discover what is being called. An initial
prototype did work by inspecting instructions; however, it didn't
correctly handle the case where the same function was called twice in a
row, which caused LLVM to elide the `ADRP` + `LDR` and reuse the
previously loaded address. Worse than that, sometimes for the
double-call case LLVM decided to spill the loaded address to the stack
and then reload it before making the second call. So, instead of trying
to implement logic to discover where the value in a register came from,
I instead recorded the symbol being called at the last place where it
was easy to do: instruction selection.

[SelectionDAG] Split SDNode::use_iterator into user_iterator and use_iterator. (#120531)
SDNode::use_iterator now returns an SDUse& when dereferenced.
SDNode::user_iterator returns SDNode*. SDNode::use_begin/use_end/uses
work on use_iterator. SDNode::user_begin/user_end/users work on
user_iterator.

We can now write range based for loops using SDUse& and SDNode::uses().
I've converted many of these in this patch. I didn't update loops that
have additional variables updated in their for statement.

Some loops use SDNode::use_iterator::getOperandNo() which also prevents
using range based for loops. I plan to move this into SDUse in a follow
up patch.

[SelectionDAG] Rename SDNode::uses() to users(). (#120499)
This function is most often used in range based loops or algorithms
where the iterator is implicitly dereferenced. The dereference returns
an SDNode * of the user rather than SDUse * so users() is a better name.

I've long beeen annoyed that we can't write a range based loop over
SDUse when we need getOperandNo. I plan to rename use_iterator to
user_iterator and add a use_iterator that returns SDUse& on dereference.
This will make it more like IR.

[NFC] Switch a number of DenseMaps to SmallDenseMaps for speedup (#109417)

If we use SmallDenseMaps instead of DenseMaps at these locations,
we get a substantial speedup because there's less spurious malloc
traffic. Discovered by instrumenting DenseMap with some accounting
code, then selecting sites where we'll get the most bang for our buck.

[AArch64] Improve scheduling latency into Bundles (#86310)
By default the scheduling info of instructions into a BUNDLE are given a
latency of 0 as they operate on the implicit register of the bundle.
This modifies that for AArch64 so that the latency is adjusted to use
the latency from the instruction in the bundle instead. This essentially
assumes that the bundled instructions are executed in a single cycle,
which for AArch64 is probably OK considering they are mostly used for
MOVPFX bundles, where this can help create slightly better scheduling
especially for in-order cores.

[CallSiteInfo][NFC] CallSiteInfo -> CallSiteInfo.ArgRegPairs (#86842)
CallSiteInfo is originally used only for argument - register pairs. Make
it struct, in which we can store additional data for call sites.

Also, the variables/methods used for CallSiteInfo are named for its
original use case, e.g., CallFwdRegsInfo. Refactor these for the
upcoming
use, e.g. addCallArgsForwardingRegs() -> addCallSiteInfo().

An upcoming patch will add type ids for indirect calls to propogate them
from
middle-end to the back-end. The type ids will be then used to emit the
call
graph section.

TargetInstrInfo: make getOperandLatency return optional (NFC) (#73769)
getOperandLatency has the following behavior: it returns -1 as a special
value, negative numbers other than -1 on some target-specific overrides,
or a valid non-negative latency. This behavior can be surprising, as
some callers do arithmetic on these negative values. Change the
interface of getOperandLatency to return a std::optional<unsigned> to
prevent surprises in callers. While at it, change the interface of
getInstrLatency to return unsigned instead of int.

This change was inspired by a refactoring in
TargetSchedModel::computeOperandLatency.

1. In AggressiveAntiDepBreaker.cpp, have assert AntiDepReg != 0.
2. IfConversion.cpp, Kind can only be one unique value, so isFalse && isRev
    can never be true.
3. DAGCombiner.cpp, at line 3675, we have considered the condition like

073401e59c [MC] Define and use MCInstrDesc implicit_uses and implicit_defs. NFC.
The new methods return a range for easier iteration. Use them everywhere
instead of getImplicitUses, getNumImplicitUses, getImplicitDefs and
getNumImplicitDefs. A future patch will remove the old methods.

In some use cases the new methods are less efficient because they always
have to scan the whole uses/defs array to count its length, but that
will be fixed in a future patch by storing the number of implicit
uses/defs explicitly in MCInstrDesc. At that point there will be no need
to 0-terminate the arrays.

9f8544713a [DebugInfo] Store instr-ref mode of MachineFunction in member
Add a flag state (and a MIR key) to MachineFunctions indicating whether they
contain instruction referencing debug-info or not. Whether DBG_VALUEs or
DBG_INSTR_REFs are used needs to be determined by LiveDebugValues at least, and
using the current optimisation level as a proxy is proving unreliable.

Test updates are purely adding the flag to tests, in a couple of cases it
involves separating out VarLocBasedLDV/InstrRefBasedLDV tests into separate
files, as they can no longer share the same input.

Move from llvm::makeArrayRef to ArrayRef deduction guides - llvm/ part
Use deduction guides instead of helper functions.

The only non-automatic changes have been:

1. ArrayRef(some_uint8_pointer, 0) needs to be changed into ArrayRef(some_uint8_pointer, (size_t)0) to avoid an ambiguous call with ArrayRef((uint8_t*), (uint8_t*))
2. CVSymbol sym(makeArrayRef(symStorage)); needed to be rewritten as CVSymbol sym{ArrayRef(symStorage)}; otherwise the compiler is confused and thinks we have a (bad) function prototype. There was a few similar situation across the codebase.
3. ADL doesn't seem to work the same for deduction-guides and functions, so at some point the llvm namespace must be explicitly stated.
4. The "reference mode" of makeArrayRef(ArrayRef<T> &) that acts as no-op is not supported (a constructor cannot achieve that).

Per reviewers' comment, some useless makeArrayRef have been removed in the process.

This is a follow-up to https://reviews.llvm.org/D140896 that introduced
the deduction guides.

fbdea5a2e9 [AMDGPU] Always select s_cselect_b32 for uniform 'select' SDNode
This patch contains changes necessary to carry physical condition register (SCC) dependencies through the SDNode scheduler.  It adds the edge in the SDNodeScheduler dependency graph instead of inserting the SCC copy between each definition and use. This approach lets the scheduler place instructions in an optimal way placing the copy only when the dependency cannot be resolved.

fb6596f1ec [DebugInfo][InstrRef] Avoid a crash from mixed variable location modes
Variable locations now come in two modes, instruction referencing and
DBG_VALUE. At -O0 we pick DBG_VALUE to allow fast construction of variable
information. Unfortunately, SelectionDAG edits the optimisation level in
the presence of opt-bisect-limit, meaning different passes have different
views of what variable location mode we should use. That causes assertions
when they're mixed.

This patch plumbs through a boolean in SelectionDAG from start to
instruction emission, so that we don't rely on the current optimisation
level for correctness.

e7c9a6cae0 [SDAG] Don't move DBG_VALUE instructions after insertion point during scheduling (PR53243)
EmitSchedule() shouldn't be touching instructions after the provided
insertion point. The change introduced in D83561 performs a scan to
the end of the block, and thus may move unrelated instructions. In
particular, this ends up moving instructions that have been produced
by FastISel and will later be deleted. Moving them means that more
instructions than intended are removed.

Fix this by stopping the iteration when the insertion point is
reached.

ce0c1f3ced [DebugInfo] Fix crash when emitting an invalidated SDDbgValue
This patch fixes a crash in the compiler that occurs when certain
invalidated SDDbgValues are emitted. The cause of this was that we would
attempt to check the liveness of the debug value's operands, which
triggers an assert if any of those operands are invalid. This patch
changes this check such that it only occurs if the SDDbgValue is valid;
if not, the check is irrelevant anyway, so can be safely ignored.

5491a86f59 [DebugInfo] Emit DBG_VALUE_LIST from ISel
This patch completes ISel support for DIArgList dbg.values by allowing
SDDbgValues with multiple location operands to be emitted as DBG_VALUE_LIST
instructions.

The primary change of this patch is refactoring EmitDbgValue by pulling location
operand emission out to the new function AddDbgValueLocationOps, which is used
for both DIArgList and single value dbg.values. Outside of that, the only
behaviour change is that the scheduler has a lambda added, HasUnknownVReg, to
prevent us from attempting to emit a DBG_VALUE_LIST before all of its used VRegs
have become available.

c4e7857d4e [DebugInstrRef] Create DBG_INSTR_REFs in SelectionDAG
When given the -experimental-debug-variable-locations option (via -Xclang
or to llc), have SelectionDAG generate DBG_INSTR_REF instructions instead
of DBG_VALUE. For now, this only happens in a limited circumstance: when
the value referred to is not a PHI and is defined in the current block.
Other situations introduce interesting problems, addresed in later patches.

Practically, this patch hooks into InstrEmitter and if it can find a
defining instruction for a value, gives it an instruction number, and
points the DBG_INSTR_REF at that <instr, operand> pair.

3da1a9634e [Statepoints] Support lowering gc relocations to virtual registers
(Disabled under flag for the moment)

This is part of a larger project wherein we are finally integrating lowering of gc live operands with the register allocator.  Today, we force spill all operands in SelectionDAG.  The code to do so is distinctly non-optimal.  The approach this patch is working towards is to instead lower the relocations directly into the MI form, and let the register allocator pick which ones get spilled and which stack slots they get spilled to.  In terms of performance, the later part is actually more important as it avoids redundant shuffling of values between stack slots.

This particular change adds ISEL support to produce the variadic def STATEPOINT form required by the above.  In particular, the first N are lowered to variadic tied def/use pairs.  So new statepoint looks like this:
reloc1,reloc2,... = STATEPOINT ..., base1, derived1<tied-def0>, base2, derived2<tied-def1>, ...

N is limited by the maximal number of tied registers machine instruction can have (15 at the moment).

The current patch is restricted to handling relocations within a single basic block.  Cross block relocations (e.g. invokes) are handled via the legacy mechanism.  This restriction will be relaxed in future patches.

e297006d6f [ScheduleDAG] Move DBG_VALUEs after first term forward.
MBBs are not allowed to have non-terminator instructions after the first
terminator. Currently in some cases (see the modified test),
EmitSchedule can add DBG_VALUEs after the last terminator, for example
when referring a debug value that gets folded into a TCRETURN
instruction on ARM.

This patch updates EmitSchedule to move inserted DBG_VALUEs just before
the first terminator. I am not sure if there are terminators produce
values that can in turn be used by a DBG_VALUE. In that case, moving the
DBG_VALUE might result in referencing an undefined register. But in any
case, it seems like currently there is no way to insert a proper DBG_VALUEs
for such registers anyways.

Alternatively it might make sense to just remove those extra DBG_VALUES.

I am not too familiar with the details of debug info in the backend and
would appreciate any suggestions on how to address the issue in the best
possible way.

4b0aa5724f Change the INLINEASM_BR MachineInstr to be a non-terminating instruction.
Before this instruction supported output values, it fit fairly
naturally as a terminator. However, being a terminator while also
supporting outputs causes some trouble, as the physreg->vreg COPY
operations cannot be in the same block.

Modeling it as a non-terminator allows it to be handled the same way
as invoke is handled already.

Most of the changes here were created by auditing all the existing
users of MachineBasicBlock::isEHPad() and
MachineBasicBlock::hasEHPadSuccessor(), and adding calls to
isInlineAsmBrIndirectTarget or mayHaveInlineAsmBr, as appropriate.

80e107ccd0 Add NoMerge MIFlag to avoid MIR branch folding
Let the codegen recognized the nomerge attribute and disable branch folding when the attribute is given

fe0006c882 TargetLowering.h - remove unnecessary TargetMachine.h include. NFC
Replace with forward declaration and move dependency down to source files that actually need it.

Both TargetLowering.h and TargetMachine.h are 2 of the most expensive headers (top 10) in the ClangBuildAnalyzer report when building llc.
